Annalett dismounted, and gave Cody the reins to hold. She ran off and got a spare helmet from the tack room. Remounting she explained to her brother.
"Okay... This is how we'll see whos the better rider. We each have to jump every on of these jumps once. We can do any combination, any route, just as long as we jump each one. The combinations count as one jump..."
"First person to jump them all with the fastest times is the better jumper," Cody cut in.
"Fine!"
"Ladies First"
"Fine!"
Annalett cantered off to the first jump, a double. Kiss flew over the first, two strides, then another jump. That went good. Next was a small oxer, Kiss jumped that one good too. Then there was a few verticals, two cross bars, and two other oxers, and three other combinations. Annalett finnished them with a clear round, and with the stop watch that hung at her neck she called out her time:
"6.78 minutes, your turn"
Cody went, throught the course he knocked over one poll from one of the oxers, and finnished with a time of 6.80.
Annalett smiled, and Cody sighed.
"Okay, okay, you are the better rider... though it's more of the horse than the rider. I bet if I had a horse like Kiss, than I could do better than that!"
"Right... then why are your reins super lose?"
Cody shook his head,
"None of your beezewax," he grumbled...
