How do people around you know you're obsessed with something? This is something like the you know you're obsessed with lotr when... thread

For instance, People have learned that I'm obsessed with Star Wars because I pretend to use the Force on a plate of food at the table when I want it passed to me.

For Stargate obsessions, I make small references to it. I may say "indeed" instead of yes. (Indeed is one of the main lines of a character) I call small little fluffy creatures furlings. Sometimes I mutter tomyself. "If I had a puddle jumper, I would be out of here so fast...."

My locker, oh yes. All my obssesions are in there.

Yay! More stargate fans. I've not yet used indeed in a conversation. Dont really show any obsession towards that outside of the GW forum. You should visit it if you dont already.

People know I'm LotR obsessed when they see the One Ring I always wear. And then they hear me speak in elvish, or rattle off long lists of facts about LotR... and then they see my hallway, and know without a doubt I'm hopelessly gone.

They know I'm obsessed with PotC when they see the four PotC posters all around my bed.

Only my close friends know my Sean Bean addiction...I swear I have like all his movies that I could find. When people don't know who he is...I'm a little offended. I got my history class to watch Sharpe's Waterloo yesterday and today.

People also know of my LotR addiction because, I never shut up about it once someone getts me going, and I have Legolas' White knives I can actually use them too. Whoo!
