Jack suddenly barged the door open to his cabin.
He stopped immediately, and stared directly at Devina's face. He held his hands up near his sides as if he were anxious to play a piano.
He looked back and forth, as if he were looking for something, then back to her face, "Oio...How did ye get here?"

"Well, I waltzed up the plank and settled down in the pouring rain while noone was looking. What about you? Nasty weather by the way..." she said conversationaly, sipping the golden liquid with an arrogant smirk playing about her lips.

Jack sashayed himself closer to Devina, "Oh.." he said now realizing exactly how she got here.
He looked over her, slightly in digust, that she was in his cabin, sitting in his chair, drinking his rum.

Portia looked around the deck and sighed deeply. All of the crew were working hard to keep the ship afloat. She held onto the railing of the ship, so that she wouldn't get thrown overboard.

Smirking like a cat who had just eaten all the cream she picked up the bottle and with a wink, tipped the amber liquid onto the floor and dropped the bottle. Her unnervingly clear eyes watched the spliters scatter arcross the floor.
"Unexpected?" She asked looking at him with an arched eyebrow.

Jack sand crusted boots stepped around the glass on the floor. He was losing his patience, wasted rum was now all over the floor. "WHY DO DAMES DESTROY THE RUM!" He shouted angrily, nearly losing his swaggered balance by throwing a fit.

And you'll be found in the gutter with alcohol-poisning and wont have a penny and will have to steal and will be known as 'that drunk man who looks like someone who used to be a pirate'? And anyway, you are acting like a child- I'm sure you have more..." she scowled playfully at him and sifted through the maps on the table again; her stance dismissing him with dangerous authority.

"No, I don't, thanks to the bloody storm, I'm bloody positive the rum barrel's 'ave broken open do to the waves!" he shouted.
Just after he finished saying that, the ship rocked violently downwards, sending Jack flying across the room, and landing hard on Devina.

Something snapped inside Devina then, but she let no reaction pass through her body. Instead she gave her usual smirk andlet her fingers play with the flame of the candle that slid back and forth on the table.
