This has probably been done, but since it recently happened to me again, I thought I'd bring it up:

You're obesessed when you're at a new school and already people know you as TLotR geek. When they ask, "has anybody ever called you a TLotR freak [you answer "Duh!"]?, because you are," that is one of the greatest compliments...EVER.

^ That hasn't happened to me yet, though I'm expecting it every day.

-You want them to play "Into the West" at your funeral no matter how old the song is by then (I've never seen this one on these lists before!).
-You don't think of the LOTR actors as actors anymore, they ARE whoever they played now.
-Upon watching a movie with one of the LOTR actors in it, you begin calling them by their LOTR character's name regardless of who they are portraying.
-You say "good morning", "good night", and "hello" to your LOTR posters/pictures/whatever.
-You learn Tengwar (Elvish writing) and write in it all over everything.
-You try to get your hair to look exactly like your favorite character's.
-It's getting to the point where you can't hear anyone say anything without thinking of some aspect of LOTR.

Sweet! I didn't know we had one of these for LotR! (shows how smart I am!) hopefully this one hasn't been used already... although I imagine it has.

… When you beg your parents to buy ANOTHER edition of LotR because it has just a few more (________ whatever) than the other ones. (even if you already have the EE and the theatrical versions. )
