"Hello, Aradan, Mirwen." Aramel smiled. "Practicing archery, I see?"

Both elves jumped and turned, neither had realized they weren't alone, showing how absorbed they could be in a task.
"Yes." Aradan finally said, releasing Mirwen's wrists belatedly. "And escaping responsibility for a few moments."

"Ahh, I can see that. I am sure it must be very stressful to be planning so much at once. I just wanted to say thank you for inviting me."

"You have no idea.." Aradan said dryly, then added, "And you're welcome."
Mirwen, growing bored with the conversation(as she was very apt to do), sighed and readjusted the string on her bow.

Lughir wandered the halls for Araban, but couldn't find him. With a sigh, the dunadain gave up and went outside, the same outside place that happened to be the shooting area. When he got there, he spotted Araben.
"Figures..." he mumbled...

(Wow..seems 'Dan is one popular elf. )
Hearing someone else walking onto the field, Aradan turned and looked in the direction of the footsteps. Probably someone else wanting my attention..
Mirwen, halfway ready to fire an arrow, lowered her bow slightly, hearing the footsteps as well, and she also looked in the direction of the sound.

Lughir stopped a few yard away from the group of elves, not sure what to actually say. He cleared his throught and spoke.
"Prince Aradan, I got your invitation for the celebrations... but do not understand why a humble dunadain elf such as myself was invited..."
(you answer that however you want, Rav)

Aradan, a bit relieved that it was just a question this elf wanted answered, smiled a bit. "All subjects of our realm have been invited, per request of the King, as well as guests from other elven realms. If you have visited here any time previously, you were invited."

"Oh, alright. Thank you M'lord," and then he turned on his heels and walked off.
I have myself a problem, Lughir thought, I don't have any grand cloths...

A palomino mare cantered through the gates, which were constantly receiving visitors, and an elf maiden dismounted with a sigh of relief at finally arriving.
The horse was contentedly munching hay before she set off to find someone she knew - the palace did not look very full with visitors yet, something she was thankful for. She wandered about for a few minutes, and eventually caught the sound of voices from the archery range. "How predictable," she muttered, and turned a corner to be presented with the little group that was practicing. She smiled, and waited - it looked like Mirwen was practicing, and she could wait to greet the royal siblings.

As an arrow imbedded itself in the target again, the subsequent thud made Aradan turn his head. Said arrow had imbedded in the center of another target, and he allowed himself a brief smile. Well, she's certainly a quick learner..
Lowering her bow a bit, Mirwen blew a stray strand of hair out of her face, then, just as she moved to nock another arrow, turned and saw that someone else had come out onto the archery range, without any of them even realizing it.

Elenanna looked as she dismounted her horse, and looked at her daughter. Eruraviel handed the reins of her horse to one of their Lorien escorts, and Elenanna did the same. As their horses were led away, the two walked closer into the palace, and Elenanna smiled as she saw her husband.
Voronwe smiled, seeing his wife, and went to her. "Elenanna." he said, happiness evident in his voice. The two had been seperated for nearly a year, due to Voronwe's duties as an advisor to his brother and as a warrior of Mirkwood, and Elenanna's duties as the young Lady of Lothlorien. The husband and wife embraced, both looking delighted.
Eruraviel embraced Nedhudir, and she smiled at him. "Sulaid, dear brother." she said, smiling. "Sulaid indeed." he said, looking at her, before ruffling her hair slightly. Protesting lightly, Eruraviel glared at her brother, pulling away, laughing.

((Meh, sure. I'm bored.))
The elf watched a few others depart the archery range - she knew none of them - and observed Mirwen with her bow. She remained silent for some time, thinking sensibly that there wasn't going to be much opportunity to practice, and she shouldn't interrupt; but eventually her impatience to see her friend won over. Sweeping long silver hair over her shoulder, she went forward.
"Suilaid, mellon nin...oh Aradan, it's been far too long!"
