"Ah!" Jack slightly yelped as the whip licked his shoulder.

He clasped his hand around his shoulder and frowned a pair of eyebrows at the Bo'sun, "That's not very nice..."

He stated before just barely inching himself away from the mirror.

"Considerin' wot I coulda done if I weren't more interested in seein' th' Cap'n take care o' ye? That was very nice." The whip lashed out again, this time a bit harder. "Now get yer bleedin' hide back o'er there 'fore I run all outta nice."

"Yes, Milord."Said Norrington, with a smile. At last, he thought. He went back aboard the Flying Dutchman.
"Make Ready to clear port, set a course for Tortuga now!" Shouted Norrington to the crew of the Dutchman.

(Sorry two days ago was 18th Birthday yesterday was thanksgiving:-P Ye know how it is...)

Davey Jones' suddenly repeated Norrington's order to the crew, loud and clear, "Make ready to clear'a port set course to Tortu'ga!"

His tentacles twisted in an angry frenzy, but his temper remained controlled...for now.

Jack jumped back, shrinking away from the crack to his shoulder again. Oh, how he so desperately wanted to electocute the Bo'sun's bloody eyes out, but he decided to wait for the opportune moment, which would be next time.

He finally sashayed his way over to the wall, but remained a good distance away from Jimmylegs. "Well.." Jack started a bit unsure of himself, "I would get my bleedin' hide back onto the Dutchman...but.." Here it came, "I'm afraid said pirate doesn't know quite how."

"Oh, ye doesn' know quite 'ow, eh?" the bo'sun sneered. "Well, I'd be more'n happy t' assist ye!" Snarling, he quickly snatched the pirate by the back of the shirt and plunged into the wall, soon re-emerging on the deck of the Flying Dutchman. Throwing Jack down onto the wooden deck roughly, Jimmylegs looked up to Jones. "Found 'em, Cap'n," he announced, his eyes glinting malisciously. "They was slackin' off, as usual."

Bootstrap didn't respond to the accusation, nor make any move to help Jack up. He simply stood there, eyes glued on the wooden planks of the deck.

Davey Jones directed his footing to where Jack had crashed onto the deck. "Slackin' off'a?"

His tall, broad figure bent down, shadowing Sparrow's form on the wooden planks.

His crab claw-like hand snapped open, and in one swift movement, Captain Davey Jones clamped the claw around Jack's neck, and lifted him up, letting his sand crusted-boots dangle in the musty air.

"Is that'a so Bootstrap'a B'ill?" The cold eyes side-glanced Turner, as a skin deep smirk curled onto his face.

"Beckett told Jack to do somethin'," Bootstrap muttered, still not looking up.

"When I found 'em, they was examinin' their pretty faces in th' mirror!" Jimmylegs challenged. "An' Beckett weren't nowhere t'be seen."

"S'what Beckett told Jack t' do," Bootstrap argued, locking eyes with the bo'sun. "Said 'e 'ad a mirror an' offered it t' Jack. I stayed behind 'cause Jack still doesn' know how t' get 'imself back." Funny how almost every time he got into trouble, he was doing something for or with Jack. The man had the most uncanny knack for getting him into undesirable situations.

Will had only enough money to purchase one good wooden rowboat. It was now being delivered to the Black Pearl. "Pintel and Ragetti will take it aboard for us," Will said to Elizabeth. He fingered his pockets for any extra coins but there was nothing.

Elizabeth looked to him with her mischevious grin and said, "As Tia said, we must find ways to bring back supplies. I see a busy market just down the street buzzing with people. We could easily slip some things into our grasp."

(Waiting for Eruraina's response to Ragetti)

Davey Jones' veered back his head and sneered along with the rest of the crew, "Always'a stickin' up for others....ever realize B'ill that'a it has ne'er worked'a?..."

Meanwhile, Jack glided his eyes over to Bootstrap as he dangled in the air. He gave a noticeable twitch in his eyes almost telling Bill, Should I zap him bloody well?

Bootstrap shot Jack a glare that very clearly replied, Not if you bloody value your life.
"Jus' in my nature, I s'pose," he said out loud, still not making eye contact with Jones. "Figure s'better t' make friends than enemies."

Pintel grumbled.
"I thought you didn't even know how to read! I don't!"

Davey Jones' face twisted in frustration, "When will'a ye realize that'a all hope has been los't?"

Water spewed from his mouth as he continued towards the old coral ridden man he was talkin to, "Did'a ye ever truly bel'ieve that this kind'a of life would really give ye another chance to be a father to yer son'a? That'a ye would somehow ge't back whate'er life ye had before ye surrender'ed yourself to the sea, and your soul'a to me…?"

His red claw clamped around Sparrow's neck harder, the more he grew angry.

Meanwhile, Jack had looked away from Bill and down to Captain Jones. His throat croaked as it was being squeezed, but strange snapping sounds was coming from Jack, as if a strong static was building up in his body.

"To hope is t' be human," Bootstrap replied stubbornly. "An' quite frankly, sir, I'll take any shred o' humanity I can get. As for my son...I've long given up on bein' any kind o' decent father. He's off this ship, an' that's enough for me. If you'll no longer be needin' me, Cap'n, I'll be returnin' to my work."

Davey Jones continued, talking over Bootstrap Bill's last words, "This isn’t about'a givin' up, it’s about givin' in…ye’ve lasted the longest among'a any of the crewmembers I’ve taken board this ship'a."

Davey Jones slammed Jack onto the deck, and started to drag him along as he 'thumped' his way over to Bill.

"Most lose their sanity and shed'a their human'ity within a few years'a, but ye…ye’ve held out like this for all this time'a…"

Ragetti pulled a contorted face, "You get credit for trying! And besides, we 'ave nothin' else ta do." He then stuck his nose back in the book and moved his lips ever so slightly.

Bootstrap hesitated. He was fading fast, and he knew it. Everyday things were getting harder to recall, only small glimpses of the intial memories remaining. His wife's smile. Will's laughter as he'd taught him how to swim. The pounding headache he'd had after his first encounter with Jack. The crushing weight of the water...No. He may not have given in, but he had most certainly lost. He simply didn't want anyone else to know that.
He looked up at the captain and shrugged. "S'pose I've jus' got more t' keep me goin', sir," he replied, trying to appear uncaring as he turned back to his work.
