Strider rode his horse, (it's not Brego yet... is it?) tward the Shire, were he was going to meet a few other rangers.

Two rangers awaited Strider near the Shire, just outside of Bree, near an very old oak tree. They both had there horses with them and they where both cloaked. They where good friends with there leader and some of the first rangers to join the group he had formed all those years ago.

The oldest one, Falcon, was eating his apple while his younger sister, Alithyra, sat down on the ground, cleaning her sword. The awaited Strider and any other rangers to see what was to be done.

Miriel urged Felarah into a gallop as she noticed it was almost dawn. Nights ago she'd set out from Ithilien to the Shire with urgent news. For days she'd travelled, not allwoing herself to take any rest. In the Bree, she'd made a short stop to inquire whether the bartender from the Prancing Pony had seen a rugged, weather-beaten man, often going by the name of Strider.
After the bartender had answered he had not, the woman with golden blond hair mounted her horse again and continued her journey.

Falcon, almost falling asleep, heard the sound of hoofbeats going fast down the road leading away from Bree. "Strange..." He muttered, "Strider said he would come from the east side...not the south." Falcon stood and looked back at his sister, and he put his hand on his sword hilt, ready to face the cultprit coming down fast.

Miriel slowed Felarah down with a few whispers as she saw two figures near the road and made sure her face was covered by her hood of her cloak. But when she apporoached them, she was relieved to see that they were rangers yet she didn't reveal her face. In these dark days the enemy had many spies in disguise.

Strider, coming from the East, finally saw the ones he had be looking for. Cantering up to them, he saw another rider, who also looked like a ranger. Strider had his hood back, so those that were there could see it was them.
"Hello." he said to them, nodding...

"Aragorn, I'm so glad I found you.." Miriel exclaimed relieved. She rode up to him until they were face to face and she slowly had her hood back so he could see her sea blue eyes. "I came here as fast as I could to warn you..the Nine are on their way.. "

Falcon looked at Strider and then at Alithrya, who came up beside them. "Welcome back, Strider." Alithrya said. Falcon looked at the newcomer and asked, "Why do you speak of the Ringwraiths?"

Alithrya nodded. "Yes, I have, actually. A hobbit known as Bilbo Baggins was known to be cracked. He knew Gandalf. But he disappeared about two years ago. The only other Baggin's I know of is Frodo..."

Miriel nodded to Alithrya and Falcon and then said: "Sauron's forces are growing. Every day new troops of Easterlings and Haradrim pass the Black Gates. Now the Nine are on their way. Sauron's after something.." She looked at the other three rangers. "Do you think he thinks it's found? Perhaps that's why he's after the Halfling, Frodo Baggings..?"
