"Victoria!" Will shouted outloud. He then tried to grab her, but it was no use....Victoria tumbled down the stairs uncontrolably. "Oh no..." Will thought.

"Will, dear, if you'd like to discuss the matter you might as well come in," called Elizabeth resignedly, hearing thumping on the stairs and something falling. She suppressed the urge to roll her eyes and turned back to Jack, stating bluntly, "What are we going to do about helping Victoria's family?"

Will then tried to pull of a little white lie with Elizabeth, "I wasn't listening....Victoria just fell down the stairs! I need to see if she's all right." He then proceeded to run down to Victoria's battered frame, "Are you all right?" He then lended a hand to help her up.

"Weren't you..." muttered Elizabeth, disbelieving. She surveyed Jack for a moment. "You're impossible. I suppose it's absolutely pointless to inquire what that 'something' would be?"

Jack finally stood up from his desk. In a swift movement, brushed past Elizabeth, then moved passed Will and Victoria up the stairs, and then stepped up onto the deck.
"Mister Gibbs! Make to Tortuga!"
The crew stepped to it, and the Black Pearl was now in pursuit to the town of Tortuga, though no one, not even Gibbs himself knew why Captain Jack Sparrow had such a sudden change of mind...

Isabelle looked to be on the verge of forming a caustic and cutting comment that really wouldn't do much other than make Captain Grey angry, but she recalled all too vividly what had happened the last time she'd tried that with a pirate. The bruises still hurt, too. She hesitated. "I fail to see how one pirate ship is worse than another." And before she could stop herself, she added angrily, "Actually, I fail to see how any bloody pirate ship could ever be worse than this one!"
Claudia expertly directed the ship after the black-sailed one that was tantalizingly winking at them from the mist, and called, "Aye aye, Cap'n."

Elizabeth folded her arms. "Well, I suppose something is better than nothing," she muttered in dissatisfaction, and thumped up the stairs to the deck.

Will left poor Victoria to help herself, and ran up the stairs after Elizabeth. His eyes searched for Jack and then squinted angrily when they found him. Will approached Jack with his arms slightly behind his body and with clenched fists, "What on earth are we sailing to Tortuga for? What will we find there that will help us?"

"Will, dear, calm down," said Elizabeth, turning from her place at the railing. "Men," she muttered under her breath. "Ninnies, the lot of them." Walking over to him with her boot heels clicking decisively on the deck, she caught her slightly temper-prone husband by the arm and said, "Jack's got a plan and we'll just have to trust him."

Jack's head scanned over to Elizabeth as he pulled a very confused, suprised face. "I do?...I do!" He grinned and then swaggered away from the couple...gladly.
