[Note: As far as LotR goes, we're going by the movies and not the books for this RPG, savvy? Makes things easier. Thank'ee for understanding!]
For Jack and his crew of half-loco pirates, it's just another pleasure cruise on the Caribbean. After stopping to pick up Will and Elizabeth, they presumably start heading to Tortuga, where Jack hopes to do business with an old aquaintence.
And then they hit a strange fog. A strange fog indeed. For a few dreadful moments, they are completely lost, and the Pearl goes to a standstill. When, at long last, the mistiness clears... they aren't on the Caribbean anymore. They're in Middle Earth.
You can claim all the basic LotR characters, and basic PotC characters... and we'll just see how things go. 
Rules!!!
1. Keep it PG-13, puh-lease.
2. You're not allowed to play over 3 characters.
3. If you play your own character, you have to at least play one of the 'real' charries too.

Wow, I never thought I'd get such an enthusiastic response!! Now I'M tickled pink, haha! Added ye all... I guess maybe we'll give everyone another day... and then we'll start! *whoops madly* Haha... looks like I got last dibbs on characters though... shucks. I should've thought to claim a good one aforetime, hah! Oh well.

Weeell, for the pirates, I'm going to put it in between movie one and two.
For the middle-earthlings, hmm, I'm going to put it after the ring is destroyed and before Frodo sails to the Grey Havens ('twas a short, four-year period methinks.) However!! Since Boromir will be here, let's just say/pretend something fantastic happened, and he was sent back from death, to be a Captain of Gondor, 'kay?
Also, real quick before we start... does anyone want to be Pintel or Ragetti? I just want to be ONE of them... and I don't really fancy the idea of me playing both of them.
Anyone? Pwease?
