(Euraina how did you get thos pics of Murtagh? The movies aren't even out yet)
Tulmind grasped the hilt of Aerons sword, he swung it from left to right. "If you plan to fight well without your sight then the most important thing to know is which sword is yours. How much it ways, how fast you can pull it back and how fast you can swing it. If you know these you can mentally see your blade flying through the air." Tulmind had gathered some swords from Mirkwoods armory ealier and grabbed five swords and mixed in one of his one scimitars and Aerion's. "Now here is your sword, to test it for the first time, swing it side to side, thrust it forward and chop it into that stump to your left. Each sword will feel different and so you must determine which one is yours." Tulmind grabbed Aerion's sword and handed it back to him. "Do those things with your sword and then hand it back once you feel like you know every inch of that sword. Then do the excercises i told you." Tulmind then took his sword and started to sharpen it as he waited for Aeron to finish.

Eruraina jogged down a few halls in the palace, and soon came to a large dinning room. There were an asortment of other elves and one or two men there. A lone elf, that looked much like Eruraina only blue eyes, and no scar, caught Eruraina's eye. She walked over to the elf.
"Mea govannen, mellon nin." she stated. The elf looked up at her then smiled and jumped up and hugged Eruraina.
"Mother! Mea govannen! What are you doing here?"
"I'm here to help with the trouble in Dul Goldor. It's good to see you, Roina..."

Aearion nodded and took his sword, doing as instructed, swinging, chopping, thrusting, and hacking at the air and the stump. He then felt along the hilt, and then ran his finger along the flat side of the blade. Once he was confident he could remember it, he handed it back to Tulmind.

Tulmind took Aerion's sword and mixed it in with the others he handed Aerion a sword that was not his. "Is this your sword? Do not tell me until you have done all your tasks. It may not hit the stump like yours but it might have the same wieght." Tulmind sat back down and watched Aerion with interest.

Aearion took it, and emedietly knew it wasn't his, as there was a small fault along the handguard, which brushed agaist his hand when he took it, scratching him. None of less, he did as told, once again, and sure enough it did many of the tasks differently.
"This isn't my sword... But, who's is it, may I ask?"

"Good job, and also a good question. Many care not but that is a good trait to have.... curiostiy. When it comes to the blade it belonged too............." Tulmind thought hard on what the armorer had said about the blades and how they were important, "....ah! That one," Tulmind took the blade back, "belonged to one of Thranduil's personal gaurd. As you can see it's been used, alot! Now try this one. The first one was easier but they will progressivley get harder. Somtimes you may have to use the system twice." Tulmind then handed him another sword that was not his.

"Alright..." Aearion took it without question and swung it around in a figure eight pattern. It was quite heavy. After swinging and chopping away at the air, he agian, ran his hands blindly down the blade and over the hilt, his head and eyes pointed straight ahead of him. He figured it was quite intricate in its making, obviously elven, but it was very practical, and not clumsy. He nodded aprovingly, admiring whoever it was who crafted it. He handed it back to Tulmind.
"I am no expert, but that is a clearly nice blade."

Eruraina talked with Roina for some time, but soon the departed from each other. Roina had business with some one else in the castle. Eruraina went back to the training ground, seeing Aearion and Tulumind was doing just fine with training. She took out her own long sword and started going through complicated movements...

(yarr I HATE MURTAGH!!! srry but you will to if you have read the end of Eldest. (the second book)I wont tell you why i don't like Murtagh any more because that will ruin the story for you!!!)
Tulmind smiled, "Aerion you are doing quite well for your first time examining blades." Tulmind was going to say somthing about the next blade but didn't because the next blade was Tulmind's. He reluctantly handed it over but when Aerion pulled it back Tulmind let the full lenght of the blade run through his fingers. He did not want to let it go but he had to or else it would be obvious to Aeroin that the blade was his. He watched and waited to take his scimitar back.

Aearion took it, noticing that Tulmind didn't release the blade completely after Aaerion had a firm grip on it. Puzzled, Aearion did the same with this blade as he had done with the last. He then handed it back to Tulmind.
"That one seems... Different.."

Tulmind took it back without answering him. He completed the steps that he had told Aerion. When he sliced into the stump he slammed it into the stump almost splitting into two pieces. He smiled and yanked it out seathing it. "Try this one." he handed Aerion another sword that wasn't his.

Aearion nodded, surprised at the muber of swords Tulmind had attained. He took it, and repeated the same steps, and handed it back to Tulmind wordlessly, and then was silent before saying,
"Tulmind, exactly how many swords do you have?"

Aearion shrugged and then took the sword, after a long pause in which he hadn't figured out that a sword was being given to him. He took it, and waved it around. He barely smiled, probably invisible to the average person, and then with a small grunt, walked over to where his scabbard was resting agaist a tree, and sheathed it. He then walked back over to where he was standing without saying a word.

Tulmind smiled, "Now it's time in your training to get a little more serious." Tulmind unseathed his scimtar and held it in front of him. "Now, unseath your sword and feel were my sword is. I won't move my sword but hit my sword on the left and then on the right. Get a little faster with each swing. And do not get too fast were your barely touching my sword. Lets see what you can do." Tulmind raised his sword and planted his feet on the ground.
