Sophia sighed as she walked up to the mansion. The cold was certainly something to get used to...waaaay different from Pasadena, California, where Christmas was sometimes 80 degrees. She sighed, holding the wrapped gift close underneath her coat, and ringing the bell.

The door flew open and Cate appeared in the doorway with a smile. "Sophia! Good to see you. Won't you come in?" With a grand sweeping gesture, Cate motioned a long-nailed hand into her house.
