[font=Arial, sans-serif]Wow....i havent posted a poem on here in ages....i've been so busy....well, I wrote this one 2day in English & then finished it just a moment ago....plz tell me wut u think....these r confused feelings (once again) that i'm going through....also any advice is welcome, as well. lol Thanks guys......
I used to know who I was,
and who I wanted to be.
Everything was making sense;
the world was clear to me.
But little did I know,
that it was all about to change.
My world was about to turn upside down;
Nothing would ever be the same.
I thought nothing of him at first;
that he was just another face.
Never thought he’d cause my head to spin,
my hands to sweat, my heart to race.
I tried in vain to forget about him;
to move on with my life.
To forget that we had ever met;
It became my internal strife.
And finally one day,
I looked him in the eye,
And realized that in love
No longer, was I.
And for a while, I was content.
Things went back to normal again.
But too soon, I’m afraid,
that all came to an end.
For one day, as we were talking,
he asked me, “do you love me?”
And even though I said no, he said
“I love you, even if you don’t love me.”
My head began to spin, my heart to pound,
just like they used to do.
But I pushed them aside, out of the way,
asking myself, “What’s wrong with you?”
But since then, I’ve given up;
those feelings just won’t go away.
I’ve finally excepted the fact
that they’re here, and they’re here to stay.
But now I don’t know what to do.
Do I tell him I love him so?
Or do I just keep it to myself,
Since I already told him no?
Tears well up in my eyes,
I just cannot decide.
I want to tell him everything;
In him, I want to confide.
So I sit here, writing this poem,
Trying, to him, to explain
All of my deepest feelings,
And tell him why I’m so afraid.
I can only hope he’ll be patient with me,
And that he will understand
When I tell him that I don’t know what I feel,
And if he wants to move on, I understand.
But if he doesn’t; if he waits,
then I can only pray
That I will know how I feel;
And that I’ll tell him, someday.[/font]

Oh, Pip!! *tackle hugs*  It's sooo sad... but also very well written. I like it a lot. It flows nicely too.

Ditto. Verry well done.
Hope you don't mind I kind of wrote a poem in respons to this as well. Kind of my own way of saying "Hope things turn out for the best and you get this all figured out."
But like always I think I can say it better in the poem. So I'll go post that now.
