Ilythiiri's violet eyes shifted to Eomer. "Oh," she said, looking at the ground. "Good night, then..."

But as she turned to go the whip marks on her slender back were exposed by a fold falling open, a fastening having come undone at the top. Whether this was by accident or design was hard to say, but it certainly served a purpose.

Miriel quietly looked at Eomer, hoping to find any sign of recognition on his face. Swiftly she turned around, took Illythiiri's hand and walked in the opposite direction from where they came from, her head bowed.

Aragorn's face remained emotionless as he heard Gale and Rhavaniel speak in their Elvish tongue. Yet his mind was somewhere else... He wanted to speak with Eomer before his return to Rohan. He'd hoped to meet him here but unfortenately Boromir had joined him as they were walking in his direction.

Eomer bit his lip as he heard the way Boromir spoke to the girls. He couldn't do anything. For a moment he thought to recognise one of them but then noticed the whip marks on the other gilrl's back. When they had disappeared he turned to Boromir, his face revealing his feelings. "My Lord, these girls are human beings. They can't be treated like..like this! It's a scandal how Gondor benefits over the lifes of people who are enslaved."

Ilythiiri turned the moment they were out of sight, flushed with victory. "That worked rather well, didn't it?" she asked Miriel in a whisper.

Ilythiiri shook her head. "I wasn't looking at him - I wanted to see how Boromir would react. If he'd made a few more threats," she said thoughtfully, "it might have been more productive. But I suppose that was good, for a first time."

A cloud passed over Boromir's face, and he struggled to reign in his temper, nostrils flaring "They are slave Lord Eomare . I purchased them at a high price, and I was told they would obey."

As if by magic, both ethreal beings stopped and watched Aragorn, almost glaring at him with their endlessly deep, clear eyes that shone unnatrualy.
Gale touched his ear, knocking the gold earringthrough the almost pointed tip- identical to Rhavaniels, that gleamed gold in themidnight sky's light. "If you wish to stop a political war breaking out, Lord Aragorn, Arathorns son, Eomer and your... King are exchanging words over yonder..."

Aragorn glanced at the Gale and then spoke in the Rohirric tongue: "My lord, apart from your own purposes here in Minas Tirith I would recommend you to stay close your King. Tell him Aragorn, son of Arathorn would like to have a private audience with him before his leave."
With these words he left Rhavaniel and Gale. As he approached Boromir and Eomer, he noticed they both were in anger. He bowed his head slightly for Eomer as he interupted their discussion: "A perfect night for a walk in the open air after a fine meal is it not?"

Gale shrugged, and followed, Rhavaniel close on his tail, the two angelic creatures keeping pace easily with the man.
"Lord King Boromir.." Gale muttered, inclining his head slightly.
"Master..." the elf murmered, giving a shallow bow, and still lurking in Gale's shadow.
Boromir raised an eyebrow at his elf "Where have you been?!"
"I was... Exchanging words with Master Gale."
Gale smirked to himself, then gave Eomer a pointed look, inclining his head anew to point at Aragorn.

Eomer nodded to Gale as sign that he understood and then turned to Aragorn: "It's a beautiful night indeed, but alas, I'm not able to enjoy it. The journey has tired me greatly, I hope you will excuse me my Lords if I retreat for the night. A lot of work still has to be done." He glanced at Aragorn, gestured Gale with his hand to follow and made his way back to the white house.

Miriel sudenly gestured Illythiiri to stop talking as she noticed Boromir, Eomer, Aragorn and Gale with Rhavaniel in the shadows. "Rhav..!" she hissed, hoping the Elf would here her. "Rhav!" This time her voice sounded louder and seemed to echo in the silent atmosphere.

Swiftly, she edged towards the two girls and flashed an almost identical grin to his "What? Have I missed something?"
