Elenriel breathed a sigh of contentment as she drank in the wintry beauty that surrounded her. “It’s so beautiful.” she said, her voice barely above a whisper.
“Yes, but your beauty by far surpasses this fair sight.”
Elenriel blushed deeply at his statement. “You look regal yourself.” she said softly. “I feel like the luckiest woman here to have you by my side.”
“And that is where I should be.” he remarked as he pulled her close to him. The two continued the rest of their stroll in silence, content just to be with each other.

Arwen and Viggo saw Elenriel and Legolas strolling close by. Arwen smiled and walked toward her sister and brother-in-law. "How are you? I haven't been able to talk to you much during the ball. Are you having a good time?"

At the end of the song, Nurr walked out into the garden. The air was crisp and she could see her breath. She moved toward a bench, and sat looking at the stars. "They certainly seem bright tonight, don't they?" Mat asked, sitting beside her. "Yes, they seem to be closer, and...I don't know...more...well, elvish!" Nurr was glad the darkness hid her blush over such an akward and stupid comment. They sat contentedly, gazing at the sky. Then Mat stood up and held out his hand. "Care for a stroll?" His eyes were soft as he looked at her.

Thank you Everyone for attending the Winter Ball and making it such a smashing success! Your help, participation, and general wonderfulness is so appreciated. After a while we'll consider plans and ideas for another future Ball since I do believe from this week's events, the party/ball is worthwhile and a great time for everyone who attends. Thank you again and again.
