Questioned Anchev who stepped after the shade and slammed the door shut behind him, he had dealt with the dragon rider on the field to his best ability yet not well enough as he had hoped. Yet these two should not be allowed hope for it made prisoners and the oppressed annoyingly persistant not to mention rebellious.

"You raise your voice because you know it is the truth, your blood boils because you are ashamed of it... others would have laughed at such claims, but you jump onto the walls after being accused of it. You speak of poison, but I think that truth is a cleansing thing..."

"I won't believe this, don't believe it yourself, Mirima!" Annalett said, and looked Anchev in the eye, she couldn't look at the shade, for he was in Mirima's cell.

"I'm..not..sure."Mirima said scared to look Crathner in the eye. "I really don't know they..um..didn't tell me."

(Okay I'll go ahead and post. Brom, are you going to join me in the rescue attempt?)

Merah walked into her father's study. King Elduren was at his desk studying a piece of paper he held in his hand. "You sent for me father?" Merah asked him. He looked up at her.
"Yes, daughter," he said, "We have just recieved grave news. Two dragon riders have gone missing. We believe they have been captured."
Merah gasped. "Captured!" She knew that this would not be good. Dragon riders were few. They couldn't lose any. Just for comfort, she reached out with her mind to her own dragon, Saeldur.
I am here, little one, came a deep rumbling voice, Do not fear.
Merah relaxed a little. Having Saeldur's presence in her mind was always comforting. She turned her attention back to her father. "What would you have me do?"
"I need you to gather any other dragon rider you can find," he said, "And find the two that we lost. I trust you with this Merah."
Merah nodded. "Of course. When do I leave?" This was her first big mission, and as much as it frightened her, she found herself becoming excited as well.
"Tonight," her father replied, "Go make ready."
Merah nodded and left the room. She went back to her chamber and began packing her things. Soon she was ready. She tucked her two daggers into her belt and slug her bow and quiver of arrows over her shoulder. She once again reached out to Saeldur with her mind as she pulled on her leather riding gloves. Saeldur, she called to him, Be ready for me. We ride now.[i]

After Crathner left with Anchev Mirima leaned over to the side of her cell nearest to Annalett "I don't believe Crathner if you don't." she was weak from not eating her two meals. "Let's put our magic together and try and call our dragons maybe we could atleast call one." Mirima said making sure no one was around to hear.

Annalett leaned over to Mirima.
"I agree. Try to call the closest ones, I do have two, so theres a one-third chance of both of us together calling one of our dragons."

Mirima reach out with her mind attached to Annalett's mind trying to find one of their dragons.

Annalett's and Mirim's minds combined stretched over only a few miles, until it couldn't go anymore. Annalett tried calling out, but even trying to think of her dragon's names while doing so was hard. A sharp pain struck her mind, and she was pulled instantly back.
Don't think you can call your dragons! boomed a voice inside they're minds, then there was a luaph, and the presence that was in their minds faded.

Annalett opened her eyes and looked helplessly at Mirima.
"The Shade!" she croaced, voice hoarse...

"Oh my gosh I wonder if he can read our minds??"
exclaimed Mirima afraid of finding the shade in their minds.

"He's a Shade, who knows? They're spirits with a human shell. We just have to remember our mental training. Maybe we could join our minds to make a stronger mental wall to keep the Shade out." Annalett sudjested, and leaned against the wall, hunger making her phisically weak...

Will be going to London on March of the 30th

Merah looked down at the ground far below her and Saeldur. She patted the large dragon's blood red scales. Do you see anything? she asked him. Saeldur waited a moment then replied. A dragon rider! his deep voice was surprised. Look just ahead. Merah shaded her eyes and looked ahead, trying to spot the dragon and its rider.
