Ha! I saw Eragon! Hahaha! Nothig like the book really, but all around entertaining. And I've decided I like the guy who plays Eragon now, I didn't before.

The way things have been going, I thought we wouldn't get any new members at all..

Especially considering all the negativity regarding the movie.

Ah, it was a good popcorn flick...I wouldn't particularly want to sit through it again, but it was fun the first time round.

I sat through it twice. :P I like it, it's light and short and just a fun movie to sit down to for a little while.

Ed did a great job. It could be hard to portray Eragon, what with all his changes, everything he goes through, and everyone else's expectations of how he should be, but he did well.

Haha, no kidding. Well, 3/4 of the book wasn't in the movie, half the movie was made up... but over all, I thought it was entertaining, but nothing like the book.

^ As I've said somewhere before(don't remember where..oh, well), you just have to come to look at it like it's a completely seperate story, with a few coincidental similarities.

That's exactly what I thought. Just some entertaining movie which has no basis on anything... :)

The way my dad and I put it is that it's "loosely based" on the book. The only way I managed to enjoy the movie was by deciding that it was a completely separate story, that they weren't the same. So I enjoyed the movie. And I thought most of the people did a good job, though I was really disappointed in their Galbatorix.

I think the movie was good but, like everyone said, it left out a lot and made you a lot. The book was better.

Well, you can't expect the movie to be better, can you? But yes, entertaining, nowhere near the movie. Expected it to be horrendous, actually, but it wasn't bad.
