Abby looked at her brother. " who wasn't killed? " Abby didn't want to come into the full reality that her parents had died.

Luke looked at her, holding her shoulders. "We are the last ones, Abby."

"b-but no...that can't be...." Abby went franticly runing to each wagon in there small group of wagons. when she got to the one that the small child was in she was in shock she just remembered him. "luke!!" she yelled for him to come.

Luke, still using his rifle for support, went over to the boy and took away his rifle. "Easy there, mate..." He said, softly.

Abby watched her brother. she sighed and knew that she had to do something about his arm. " luke, i need to tell you something." Abby moved closer to him. she got close to his head like she was going to wisper something in his ear. then she yanked his arm back in. she didn't want to do that but she knew she had to..." luke i'm so sorry....oh i'm really sorry i didn't want to hurt you but there was no one around to help and i don't want you to have to lose it and...i'm sorry." Abby rambled.

Luke bit back a scream and put his head down as the sharp pain went through his arm. Tears filled his eyes as he looked down at Abby and then gave her a great, big hug. "My couragous sister..." He whispered.

Abby held back tears as she saw how much it hurt Lukebut she did not dare let tears fall. she didn't like anyone to see her cry.

Abby looked at luke. she knew he was right but she still didn't want to apear weak. she turned her mind to something else. " luke....what do we do with the child....a-and......his father and the other folks....and....m-mom and d-daddy." she then bursts into tears. she couldn't kee it in anymore.

Luke gave her another hug. "We go on..." He said.

Abby sank to her knees. "luke! we don't know where to go!! we can't just take on a child either....i mean...what do we feed it and..." Just then a little girl came out of one of the wagons rubbing her eyes. " mommy? daddy? where are you?
the child couldn't have been more then 4 years old. Abby looked at luke. "oh no..."

Daniel stood silently in the middle of the wagons, oblivious to what was going on around him. The reality had finally hit him that his father was dead.

The little girl cma up to Abby luke and daniel. "where's my mommy and daddy?" she said simply. Abby looked at Luke....." luke...i don't know what to tell her.....and now theres two..." Abby sighed. she didn't know what to do.
