Bill was trying his best to hold on, but his ankle just became more and more painful with each step. Soon enough the pain was shooting up his leg and through his hip. Glancing behind him, he could see the natives coming closer and closer......he would be caught soon if he didn't think of something......
The natives that were chasing Lee stood staring in confusion for about ten seconds.....looked at eachother.....and then dashed toward Lee once again.

Lee heard the natives coming again and her ankle was killing her. She was at the edge of the forest and she ran into it, hoping to find a hiding spot somewhere.....and soon. _________________

Bill and Lee were no running in opposite directions from eachother. Not exactly according to plan.....
Bill was running out of energy. He didn't know how much longer he could run before being caught, "This was a bloody stupid idea!" He thought in his head.

The other natives began to throw spears again. Some of them stuck into the soft dirt near her feet.

Lee then jumped out of the forest with a war cry and landed on part of the group of natives. She stabbed one with her dagger and yelled, "Go, Bill!" Then she jumped up and ran up beside Bill. _________________

Bill looked spasticly to Lee, "Thanks lass!" He smiled only for a second and then hobbled into a thick part of the jungle. "Come on, this way!" he shouted as he headed toward the bottom of the volcano.
The natives continued their pursuit but only for a while. Near the bottom of the volcano, they stopped. Backing away into the jungled they disappeared into the green foliage.
