Padme walked into the cafe and looked around. Finally, spotting Reia she walked over.
"Hello, Reia! Obi-Wan!" she said brightly. "It's been far to long." She smiled. "And..." She looked at the boy puzzled for a moment. He was handsome. One of Reia's friends? But he made an expression that she recongnized. "Anakin?!"

Reia smiled and said, "Hello, Padme." She then noticed her look at Anakin, then raised an eyebrow playfully, indicating she had picked up on her attraction.

She caught Reia's playful expression before saying, "It's nice to see you, Ani."
Padme through a dirty look at Reia when the guys weren't paying.

There she was. Padme.... She looked so beautiful and flawless. What a smile!
Kenobi stood up from his chair and walked around Anakin to reach Padme, "Padme, it's so good to see you again." He wanted to hug her, but he thought it may be inappropriate. "Won't you join us?"

Her smile broadened at Anakin. "Good thing I chose today to fly in. Otherwise I wouldn't have gotten to see all of you."
She turned to look at Obi-Wan. "Yes, of course I will." She was slightly confused by his behavior but decided against asking if he was alright. She offered Obi-Wan a handshake since he was standing.

Kenobi shook her hand firmly and then helped assist her by pushing in her chair while she sat down.
Obi-Wan sat back down at the table and rested his elbows in it. "My, my, my.....this is a reunion! How wonderful." He smiled softly and rested his gaze on Padme.

Reia glanced down at her salad, before deciding to actually eat it. She began to pick at it - a Nubian fruit salad - eating a few mouthfuls before downing almost all of her nectar.

"Thank you," said Padme as Obi-Wan assisted her. Though still somewhat puzzled over his behavior, she decided it was pleasant and probably just a characteristic he had gotten in the years they hadn't seen each other. Though there was a slight nagging in the back of her mind, she disregarded it. People were allowed to change you know.
"How are things at the Jedi Temple?" she asked with genuine interest. Having the rare oppurtunity of being allowed to enter several times with Eljaraj, her cousin, she had fascination about the training that went on inside, the archives which she had been allowed to browse, and just the general Jedi lifestyle.

Kenobi did not wait for anyone else to answer Padme's question. He jumped on it and responded, "Everything is going quite well. There are many new additions to the Jedi rank. The younglings are becoming more aquainted with the force. I do believe that the younger generation will be the most powerful Jedi's the council has had in many years."
He placed his hand over his chin and stroked it, "What brings you here, Padme?"

Reia was biting back a smile when she suddenly heard a beeping at her belt. She picked up her comlink and checked it, before quickly rising and saying, "Sorry - I have to take this. I apologize," and starting to walk out. "Oh - and finish my salad if you like, Padme. You need some more meat on your bones," she added with a wry, teasing smile before turning away.

Padme rolled her eyes at Reia. "Oh yea and salad is going to do that so well," she teased but grabbed the salad which Reia had hardly touched. Padme picked up her fork from the napkin in front of her and gently stabbed it into the salad, answering Obi-Wan as she did so.
"Well, Chancellor Palpatine reguarlarily likes to check up on the events going on Naboo and offers help since he was the former Senator and I've only been recently elected as Senator of Naboo and he also gives me reports on what happens in the Senate since I've rarely left Naboo since the Blockade. We were to busy rebuilding since the Trade Federation," she said. "But besides a few meetings and other Senatorial work, I'm just here for a visit."
