Me two--I can't imagine how much force would be needed to draw one of those, though. When Tolkien says the Numenorians were strong, he obviously meant it.

I bet they work out alot! They have to be at least the size of football players to wear a steel bow.

Well, the Numenorians are said to be taller and stronger than normal men--they are like ultra-humans.

Yeah, they were pretty strong, but man, did they have that mad desire to live for ever!

Well, some of them did. Not all of them. Not Tar-Palantír.

I think that was Tar-Meneldur. Tar-Palantír was the second-to-last king of Numenor, I think, and he tried to get back on the Valar's good side. Ar-Pharazon pretty much destroyed his efforts though.

The steel bows of numenor. The numenorans would havebeen use to archery and rowing/marine stuff form an early age as past times, strength can build up over time, which they had a fair bit of. alos the added benefit is that the arrow would have been sent at higher velocities and teh bow would be less likely to snap probbos than wood. IM back!!!!

Allright. I haven't rid the Sil for a while either, so you're not alone.
