*Jumps up and down*
I loved Jane Eyre! I read it this summer and couldn't put it down, it was awesome! I love all the discription and the way we always know how Jane is feeling. And of course, Mr Rochester is devine in my opinion. Even though he may have had secrets.
10/10 for Jane Eyre.

It was beautiful!
Amazing, I finished last night and *gasp*
I'm so happy that in the end he got some of his eyesight back.
It was so beautiful.
*sniffle*

I love this book! I am only half-way through but i love how rich it is!!! It really takes all of your emotions to help you get into it! (But I still love P&P more)

Oh my goodness, I this is one of my absolute favorite books of all time! I read it about 4 years ago for the first time and I fell in love with it. I've reread it a few times since then. I love Jane soooo much. I think it's cause I feel like I can relate to her; we share a lot of the same qualities. Mr. Rochester is cool too.

i started reading this, but near died of boredom. *ducks to avoid expected missiles* i think i only got four chapters in before i gave up. when it comes to the brontes, emily was clearly the best - wuthering heights is incredible and you gotta be impressed by anyone who has the guts to cauterise their own wound with a hot poker. i'm sure i'll read jane eyre properly at some point though - it's one of those books i feel i ought to read, even if i don't want to.

*throws things at eowyn* Haha. Just kidding. I actually probably have to agree that I liked Wuthering Heights better than Jane Eyre, but Jane Eyre is still a really really good book. It was kind of hard to get into though. Trust me, it gets really good, and if you ever have time you should definitely try it again.

Ok, yes, I agree. I haven't read wuthering heights, but jane eyre was boring. right now i'm reading 'the eyre affair' (Jasper Fforde) and it is really hilarious... jan eyre is supposed to be in it, but she hasn't appeared yet.

The first couple chapters of Jane Eyre can be a little hard to get through, but once you get passed that part and get into the parts with Mr. Rochester, you can't put it down. Trust me on that one.
Wuthering Heights was wonderful. It's hard to say if I liked it or Jane Eyre better. I think I may have identified more with Jane Eyre though, so that sets it a little ahead for me.
For anyone who has trouble getting through it, give it another try. It's worth it.

Well...I finally finished and all I can say is Whoa! It has to be the best book I have read in forever! And now that I have finished I think im going to have to go back on what I said, because I'm not so sure that P&P is better than it!

I asked my English teacher if we'd study Jane Eyre next year in English Literature and she said no, because it was boring! *Pouts* I wasn't happy.

^Really?
How ironic, after reading Jane Eyre, a couple of 10th graders informed me that next year I would be studying Jane Eyre, so I get to read it all over again!
woooooh!

:( I envy you. I'd have liked to have studied it closer. Has anyone read Wuthering Heights? Slightly off topic, but I was just wondering.
