[Eek! No one's posted here for over 5 hours! ] =)

[01] Why do you think these women felt the need to rebel?
I think they learned to be independent during WWI and knew they could be strong. After the war, they probably want to stay that way and rebelled against normal standards of being...ladylike.

[02] Do you relate to these women?
I don't feel I have a particular reason to rebel against anything...so, no.

[03] Would you, if you were in the 1920's, be a Flapper?
Nah, I prefer dressing modestly, don't drink, and dislike parties.

Dislike parties? Wow, I don't think I've ever met anyone who didn't like parties!

Parties are ALWAYS fun, at least to someone. lol! You just have to have the sense not to attend stupid parties where there'll be drinking and stuff.

I'm not big on parties either. I have this thing about a lot of people in one place... it's dangerous.

I was hoping to get a more productive discussion, but I s'pose it's just an uphill battle.

I am not exactly a party-goer myself, in real life. I despise parties that I HAVE to go to. If it's a party that I planned or a party where everyone has mutual interests and fun, then that'd be great.

^I'm afraid I'm the same way. Just not a party person.

I'm not really big on the party scene either. Dances too. I just don't feel comfortable in big crowds. I'd rather spend time with a couple friends seeing a movie or going out for coffee.

I do like movies better. They aren't as social but it is fun to go grab a bite to eat before and then go and discuss the movie afterwards! ;)

I like going out, to parties or into a bar, but I think it's more fun with 'only' a couple of friends than with a really huge crowd.
But I really don't like 'dancing-parties' (don't know if that' the right word for it). I never really tried to dance on a dancefloor, because I fell really uncomfortable there, so I try to avoid those parties :D
I really like watching movies with a few friends, next week we will watch all three LotR-movies in one night and also the bonus material and I will watch it with 3 friends, that haven't seen the movies before, so maybe there will be three more ringers after that :D

I do love going to dances and parties, but I like staying with just my best friends, cuz then I find it to be alot funner. But I dont mind being in a crowd and stuff. :)

^Haha thats really cool! One of my best friends is also obsessed with LOTR so we always watch it together. And my other best friend has never seen it before, and I made her watch a little bit of FOTR last night. We didnt get to finish it, but next time I will make he watch it

My friends only watched parts of the FotR (and things they had to watch because I told them) so I guess it'll be fun to see how they think about it after watching over 12 hours plus bonus material of each movie :D

When I first saw LotR on TV (FotR) it was in our summer holidays and for one week I watched the three movies again and again and again, as often as I could until I had to give the videos back to my cousin.
Couldn't do it again, not for one week, but it was really funny :D
Well, since we have winter holidays now I think we can watch the movies in one night, better sonn and not the day before school starts again :D
