Obi-Wan continued to stare at Padme, even when Reia left the table.
After listening to her, he said, "Oh I see. That's very interesting." Lifting his elbows off the table and his hands back into his lap, he said with a raised eyebrow, "It's disappointing that you're only here to visit, my lady. We all would like to see you more often."

Padme was slightly hurt when Anakin said "We?" Maybe he didn't want her here. Maybe since he was a man now and not a boy, he didn't remember their friendship. Stop it, her brain screamed. What the heck is your problem? So you're attracted to him? Big deal! It doesn't matter if he returns those feelings or not. You're a senator! You don't have time to worry about some stupid crush. And he's a jedi so nothing could happen even if you wanted it too.
She heard Obi-Wan distantly ask her a question and she snapped back to the moment.
"Nothing really. Perhaps, if you do not have other matters to attend too, we could all spend the day together. I'm sorry to intrude on such short notice," she said politely.
