Will gripped onto his father's hard barnacle shoulder, "Aye....it seems Turners are that way." He was now on his feet, but still trying to regain balance and constantly jerking and twitching.

Elizabeth placed Will's other arm around her shoulder, "Will, you should sit down." Her face was worried, but then it changed as it looked upon Jack. "How could you do a thing like this, Jack?!" she said in a raised tone.

Jack raised his eyebrows at Miss Elizabeth's sudden outburst of displeasure and anger. "Now...it wasn't intentional Lizzie. Ye must understand love..."
He grinned nervously and shifted his weight back and forth uneasily.

Davey Jones stepped away from the chest and cringed as the dagger drew near.
He hesitated but spoke quickly, "Jack Sparr'aw is'a not 'ere..."

Bootstrap pointedly ignored Jack's excuses, mostly in order to keep his own tongue in check. "She's right, Will," he said quietly. "You should be restin'. No need to rush things."
"Aye," Tia agreed. "We be jus' about ta make port anyhow, so ye may as well rest. Hec-tor an' I can handle t'ings ashore."

"Yes, any idiot can see that," Beckett replied, growing increasingly impatient. "But I don't believe that answers my question. I feel I must warn you, Captain: Mr. Mercer isn't known for having the steadiest grip at times. It would be a pity if that knife slipped from his grasp at this moment, would it not?"

Davey Jones' eyes twitched. Never in his life had wanted to kill a man so desperately before. If only he could take Beckett into his grasp and show him who the devil really was.
"Gone, Mister Beckett'a...the Sparr'aw 'as left it's cage'a!" he finally said in frustration as water poured down from his mouth.

"How odd," Beckett commented dryly, clearly not convinced. "In all the years that the Dutchman has sailed the seas, not a single crewman has escaped -correct me if I am mistaken-, yet Sparrow vanishes with no trouble whatsoever. Quite odd, don't you think, Mr. Mercer?"
"Very odd, Lord Beckett," Mercer replied readily, his expression never changing. "One might almost say uncanny."
"Indeed...Captain Jones, might you be able to shed some light on this matter? Clearly Sparrow must be a far more formidable foe than anticipated if he was able to so easily outwit the very devil of the seas...Or have I perhaps overestimated your capabilites and would be best served by simply doing away with you?"

Elizabeth twisted her jaw and squinted her eyes angrily at Jack's statement. "I will deal with you later, pirate.." she said with her eyes narrowing directly at his.

Will nodded and clung onto Elizabeth and Bootstrap for support. "Don't take me below deck though. Let me sit up here on deck......" he said as his eyes glanced to Jack and then back to the floor. Apparently he wanted to keep an eye on him.......

"You don't want to be doing that just yet, Mr. Mercer. You'll lose more then your life if you stab it. Do you really think the heart would be just there, ready to stab so easy? And I'm fully aware Lord Beckett, who is in charge here. As for Mr. Sparrow, I selected him to do act in Jones' stead. But he can bring him right here, right now if you wish. There's no need to kill Jones yet, wait for the opprutune moment. We still need him." Replied Norrington coolly as if he were trying to hint to something to Beckett. Now I'm starting to understand why Captain Sparrow doesn't like him either Norrington thought.

Davey Jones forced his view to look away from his heart and back into Lord Beckett's face.
"Ye wish'a to see Sparr'aw now?" He knew it was against his promise to Tia Dalma, but there was no other way out the Captain could see.

Jack side-stepped himself awkwardly. He kept that uneasy crooked grin on his lips, for fear if he'd lose it, everyone would tackle him down.
All eyes seemed to be looking at him, and that was making him somewhat jumpy.
And Gibbs you say? Well, he was ignored again.

"I'll stay here," Bootstrap readily offered. "Don't have much use for goin' ashore, an' I'd just draw stares anyway."

Beckett resisted the urge to audibly sigh and instead permitted himself a brief, disdainful glance heavenward, as though some miraculous writing in the sky might divulge his reason for continuing to tolerate the people before him. "No, Captain Jones, that will not be necessary," he finally said, speaking slowly and clearly, as if explaining to a small child. "I only wish to know the location of Jack Sparrow so that appropriate action may be taken if necessary. Surely you, of all people, have learned not to underestimate Sparrow?"

Davey Jones' eyes remained narrowed onto Lord Beckett. "Aye.." he said thinking about the events the notorious pirate had done to have been the cause of all of this.
He stopped his mind from carrying on with those thoughts, and so continued, "Jack'a Sparr'aw's whereabouts cannot be certain'a...but e'ery Sparr'aw turns back'a to its nest'a...that'a nest'a meanin' the Black Pearl."

Jack started to raise his hand to volenteer, but the pirate suddenly stopped.
His kohl underlined eyes twitched back and forth uncertainly, until they found Bootstrap. "I'd draw stares?..." he pulled a questionable face.

"No more than ye usually draw, Jack," Bootstrap assured him with a slight grin. "I somehow doubt that a few extra growths here an' there would make you any more or any less the center of attention."

Beckett nodded slightly to Mercer, who withdrew the dagger and reclosed the chest. "Then it is highly advisable that you locate said nest posthaste and obliterate it," he said shortly, his crisp tone indicating the end of the discussion. "Jack Sparrow is up to something, and I intend to find out what."

"Wait for me!" shouted Ragetti from the crow's nest. He slid down and followed close behind Pintel.

Elizabeth helped Will sit on top of some barrels. "Let me see your hand," she said as she peeked through the bandage.....making a disgusted face at that.

Will grinned slowly at his father's remarks toward Jack's appearance. "It's true. But then again, father, Jack would draw looks to himself even if he didn't look abnormal......for he is abnormal anyways."

Davey Jones spoke up saying to Beckett, "The Kraken was sent'a...but was some 'ow fought'a off..." He raised his forehead and awaited the man's reply.

Jack casually shrugged, "Then Miss Dalma, looks like ye 'ave me by yer side...savvy?" he grinned charmingly and sashayed himself up to the woman.
