(All right then! I'm going to start us off.)
Will yawned and slowly opened his eyes. It was another early morning, but it was a warm one which meant summer was near. Turning on his side, he faced Elizabeth's peaceful sleeping frame and gently toucher her long wavy hair.
Sitting up with another long yawn, his eyes looked toward the small wooden cradle that he had made for his son. Smiling at it, he figured the baby must still be asleep since it was so quiet.
Stretching his arms over head, his eyes shifted toward the open window in their bedroom. "How odd..." he thought to himself, "I don't remember opening the window last night....maybe Elizabeth did."

Meanwhile, Black Beard stood aboard his ship with the baby screaming in his companion's arms. "It won't be long 'efore the parents start lookin' for 'im."

((Can't get on till evening on most weekdays))
Elizabeth stirred and yawned, stretching under the covers. She smiled upon opening her eyes and seeing Will awake, and reached over into the cradle to uncover little James's [we never decided on a name  So I picked] face - he must have pulled the little blanket over himself during the night, she thought.
But there was no little boy under one blanket - nor under the next - and in an instant frantic Elizabeth had leapt out of bed scantily dressed. "He's gone! Will, he's not in the cradle!" she cried, flinging blankets every which way as if her son might somehow be hiding in one. _________________

Black Beard's first mate companion of the ship was a good while shorter than the broad figure which shadowed him on the deck of the Ash Dough.
Firstmate Kidd was a smaller framed man, but none the less as ruthless and voilent as all other cutthroat pirates that roamed the sea.
His skin was tan and caked with dirt and the salt of the ocean. Tangled blonde looking knots of once to be straight hair rested upon his head and two brown eyes were set onto his face.
"Why won't it shutup'!" he shouted as the child in his arms screamed loud in his ears.

It did not register with Will exactly what Elizabeth was saying, "What are you talking about, Elizabeth?" He said with an uneasy smile....almost not wanting to believe what he was hearing.

Black Beard's ruthless dark eyes glared at Kidd, "How am I supposed to know, you meaningless idiot? You figure it out!" He turned away and looked back along the ocean and toward Port Royal that was far in the distance.

Kidd's face wrinkled with displeasure. "Right..." he said dryly.
What was he to do? Kidd didn't know. Nor did he care.
"Shall I put 'im in the brig Ca'p'tn?" he asked finally after a few minutes.

Black Beard grumbled to himself, "Kidd.....what do babies need?" He rolled his eyes and pulled out his spyglass looking toward Port Royal.
Meanwhile baby James squeeled and screamed in Kidd's arms. With his face red and angry, his small tongue could be seen wriggling in frustration.

"He's gone!" repeated Elizabeth, now having darted across to her closet and began to dress with feverish haste. "What on earth could have happened - Will, the window's open - where could he have gone?!"
Elizabeth peered over the top of her screen, expertly tightening her own corset

Kidd shrugged. Then left the scene.
Kidd returned. Smirking and fully free of the weight that had once been in his arms.

Reality and the sudden fear of the loss of a child, kicked in. Will jumped out of bed, pulled on some trousers and a white tailored shirt with billowing sleeves.
His heart was beating quickly and his adrenaline was rushing. "Someone took him, Elizabeth! Someone took James! The window is the evidence of that....it's all my fault... I usually hear things at night....I don't know how I couldn't have heard it...." Will was beginning to become angry at himself, and wanting to believe that this was his fault.

Black Beard turned round to find Kidd standing happily in front of him, "Ah, so I see ye knew what ta do about the whelp." He chuckled a low bellow laugh and then asked, "What did ye do with 'im?"

"Don't be silly," said Elizabeth abruptly, and emerged fully clothed in quite possibly the fastest time she'd ever managed to do so. "I didn't hear either, and you should know as well as anyone that I'll wake at the slightest thing." Her eyes drawn inexorably to the empty cradle, her fists clenched the fabric of her dress tight. "We'll find him, Will. We have to."

Will wrapped his messy black locks into a ponytail behind his head, "And where do you suppose we start looking, Elizabeth?! We don't know who has done this or where they are off to!" Apparently Will was more frustrated in this matter than Elizabeth.
He buckled his belt that had his sword and sheath attached to it, grabbed two axes, and packed a bag full of food for both of them.

Black Beard rolled his dark black eyes and walked toward the ledge of the ship, looking through his spyglass, once again. Where were the parents? Weren't they awake yet?
Lowering the spyglass from his eye, he stratched his beard irritably.
