"Aye, but you were considerably lighter, an' I was considerably younger," Bootstrap replied with a slight grin. "Usually I'd jus' sling ye over my shoulder an' carry ye down for yer mother to take care of, but that wouldn' quite work now, for several obvious reasons."
About that time, Tia finally managed to pick the lock to their room. "Up!" she demanded, dragging Jack up by his shirt. "We've sev'ral t'ings ta get settled 'fore we leave, de most significant o' which bein' how we're gonna proceed wit' da Dutchman sittin' dere waitin' on us.
Bootstrap felt a chill run down his spine at the mention of the accursed ship. He didn't want to go back, not now that he'd seen what he was missing. He'd finally learned to relax at least a bit when sleeping, rather than having to stay on guard all the time. Though he'd had to remain in their room at almost all times, he'd enjoyed being in the small town that reminded him somewhat of Tortuga. Barbossa...that part, he could do without, but he at least hadn't killed the man...yet. And most importantly, he'd finally gotten to the point that he was actually comfortable around his son and future daughter-in-law. He'd actually gotten to make up for at least a tiny part of the years he'd missed as a father. He'd finally found life again, and he didn't want Jones taking that away from him.

Barbossa too, had stretched and straightened out his clothes a bit, now completely staring out th' small window.
"Wrong it is that the Dutchman merely waits for us below. That is not her way, she doesn' wait for favorable time's or occasions."
His eyes clouded, and his brows went heavy over his eyes.

"Aye..." Will said softly with a smile to his father. He didn't remember much of his childhood but it was nice to hear about it from someone who was apart of it.....well, at least for a short period of time. -----------------------------
As Tia burst threw the door to their room, Ragetti squeeled and quickly threw the covers over his body....seeing that he was only in his undergarments. "Haven't ye learned to knock, woman?" he asked with wide eyes. -----------------------------------
Elizabeth followed Tia in and noticed Jack on the floor, but she dared not ask questions. Anything unusually in her opinion...was usual with Jack.

"I assure ye, I seen far worse...an' far better," Tia replied dryly without even glancing sideways at Ragetti. "But we got more import'ant t'ings ta worry 'bout."
"Aye, an' until you've served on th' Dutchman for a few years, Hector, forgive me if I don't consider yer opinion t' be of much use," Bootstrap said. "I know how Jones fights; I've been in countless battles with 'im. He may be ruthless, but he's smart. Land's not his element, nor ours; we're about as effective as you'd be in a longboat with a pistol. But the sea, he controls. An' so given th' option, he'll take combat on th' open sea any day. He's jus' waiting on us, but we have t' leave eventually."
"I known Davy Jones longer dan any o' ye, but I agree," Tia cut in. "Heartless, but cunnin' an' sharp as a whip."

Jack started to tug away from Tia, and unknowingly to himself, his body decided to give Miss Dalma a jolt of electricity just to get that nasty pest off of it.

Ragetti continued to cower under the covers, "Well, I never!" Tia's remark surprised him and upset him a little.
"If ye all want ta get out of here, I need my clothes first!" he wined. --------------------------------------
Elizabeth tried not to look at Ragetti....seeing that she did not want to see a man undressed....especially an unattractive man in her opinion. "Get your own clothes!" she said with her head turned away. ---------------------------------------------
Will pulled on his leather coat and then buckled his belt across his chest, "Well, let's not waste anymore time. Jones will just become more angry if we wait any longer. We all have to face him sometime."

Hector scowl, which had immiediately crossed his face after Tia's words, turned into a rather unnatural smile.
"Then naught danger or troubles will we have as long as we be upon land?"

Tia nodded slightly, shooting Jack a dark look as she released her grasp. "For as long as we be on land, we are safeer, aye. But we are nae stayin' on land. Da trick is figurin' out how we best proceed on sea, what wit our numbers as dey be."
"An' likely at least one shorter, if not two," Bootstrap interrupted, his gaze shifting toward Tia. "We're pushin' Jones jus' by myself an' Jack even being here. I don't doubt you're powerful, milady, but somethin' tells me Jones won't take too kindly to two of 'is own crewmen fightin' on th' opposing side. S'only a matter o' time before he tries somethin'."

Will threw Ragetti his clothes that were laying on the floor across the room, "Here mate! Now get dressed so we can set sail."
Walking toward Elizabeth, he embraced her and held her tightly. He feared for the day ahead of them....he knew that at least being on land was safer than being on the open ocean.....but they must leave now. ----------------------------------
Elizabeth hugged Will back, but completely unaware of his worry. ---------------------------
Ragetti grabbed the clothes in mid-air and then hid under the covers and began to dress.

Jack slowly managed to stand on his feet. He wobbled, but caught his balance, resting a hand on Tia's shoulder. "What's the worse Jones can do? Release beastie again?" he muttered tired, hungry and still in pain.

Bootstrap's expression indicated that Jones could do far worse, but Tia spoke up before he could reply.
"It does nae matter what Jones could do. It matters what we do do, an' what we are doin' is leavin' for de Pearl righ' now." Without another word, she turned and strode out of the room.

Will and Elizabeth followed Tia out of the crowded room. "Elizabeth," Will said with a silent whisper, "Whatever happens while on board the Pearl....stay close to me."
Elizabeth smiled back and said, "Don't worry about me, Will. Everything will be fine." ----------------------------------------------
Ragetti finally was pulling on the last piece of clothing.....his coat......and he too was headed out of the room.

After the others started to exit the room, Jack was going to be the second to the last one out.
Saunting himself out of the room, he turned and looked back at Bill, "Ye comin' ol' coral shoulders?" Jack raised an eyebrow and waited.
"Bootstrap, Bill Turner...." said a faint cold voice that echoed in Bill's mind.

"You go on ahead, mate," Bootstrap insisted, waving Jack out dismissively. "I'll catch up. I jus' need a moment."
As soon as he was alone in the room, the carefully-guarded expression left his face as he glanced about suspiciously. Something was wrong...
Without warning, he found himself standing once again on the deck of the Flying Dutchman. It was a strange sensation, one of both great relief and great despair at the same time. The sea had always been a vital part of him, both figuratively when he was younger and literally now. As much as he hated the Dutchman, a part of him felt much more content back in its natural element. He wasn't all that surprised about the abrupt summoning, either; he hadn't been lying when he'd made his prediction about Jones. It had only been a matter of time before Jones stopped honoring his bargain. Nonetheless, he'd only just begun to adjust to life away from the Dutchman, and it hardly seemed fair to be ripped away now. But then again, when was Jones ever fair?
Looking up, he suddenly realized that Jones himself was standing there. "Cap'n," he muttered, touching his forehead hastily in a brief salute and keeping his eyes glued to the deck.

As Will and Elizabeth followed Tia's lead, he looked over his shoulder to find the rest of the crew following.....but........where was his father?
With his eyes shifting precariously, he asked Ragetti, "Where's my father?" --------------------------------------------
Ragetti shrugged and then looked back at Jack, "EH! Jack! Where is Bill?"

Jack shrugged at the two of them as he slowly swaggered behind the company. "Man said he needed a moment...can't argue with that mates..." he said simply and easily.

Captain Davey Jones looked coldly into Bootstrap's eyes. He was searching inside his soul, and what the crewman was feeling.
Slowly a furrowed brow settled on his skin and a snarl formed over his mouth, "Jack'a Sparr'aw can'a no longer be set'a free...I want'a ye to cage the bird'a and bring'a 'im back'a where 'e belongs..."
He stepped forward, coming close to Bill's face. Letting the man smell his damp smokey breath he said, "Now'a, or there will be th' devil to pay'a..." He stopped, but then added in a dead tone, "..Or a son'a."
