Inanco climbed stiffly back onto Aras's back. He wasn't used to riding for long distances. His ran a hand through his gritty hair, then held on to the eagle's feathers as he took off. Inanco felt his stomach turn, like it always did, as the eagle climbed into the sky. It settled as Aras leveled off his flight path. Inanco squinted into the sun, then buried his chin in his chest and closed his eyes, trying to keep sand out of them.

Aeryn also climbed into Kithsytha's back. He flew into the skies, following Inanco and Aras and there flight path.

Everya climbed on Remnee and followed the others, ascending into the sky.

Rayen climbed up onto Adahy's back. Hopefully it wouldn't take very long to reach the centaurs. She wondered why they were 'jittery' on the full moon and what exactly that meant. The wind whipped her long black hair around her face, and she batted it out of her eyes so that she could see the land. She guided Adahy up to where Eligh and Norokai were flying.

((ARTEMIS!! YOU'RE BACK! YAYNESS FROM THE LAND OF FABULOTOSITY OF THE HAPPINESS GUILD! *huggles* ))
Eligh sighed as the hours poured on. Hours and hours of an empty horizon. Stopping only for another hour rest, they soon made it to Mienora, whose massive shape was that of a crater - for that it what it was, at one time. Now it looked like an intricately carved anthill of sorts, at least from their altitude. As they decended to the city, the doorways became taller, until they were at least ten feet tall, if not taller. This was, of course, to acomidate the tall centuars that came to and fro ever hour of the day. As they landed in the grassy center of the city, Eligh could see a tall, black centuar aproching them. And, there were even bigger centuars following him. They didn't look very happy.
At once, Norokai straightened up and puffed out his chest, intending to defend if nessicary, or, to make a nice first impression. Eligh couldn't tell the difference sometimes with that odd bird. Sliding off easily, Eligh dismounted his large eagle and walked slowly to the group, hands in the air, just above his head.
"Hail, centuars of Mienora! We come in peace, and mean no harm, unless you mean it to us." he cast a quick glance back at the rest of the group, "We come at the wish of Zhicoal." a mumur went through the centuar's group. "I have a message and a token from him, for your people and your king." At this, the front centuar stepped forward, his towering frame looming over Eligh.
"I am Thringon. You, master human, will tell me your message, and give me your token from Zhicoal." Eligh nodded slowly, examining Thringon's build. He definately looked pecular compared to most beings... His torso looked completely normal, and long, straight, jet black hair flowed down his back and bare chest. But from the hips down, he looked like what most called a 'horse'. Eligh himself didnt' know how to take it, as he had never seen a horse before. Only birds.
"Of course." he finally said, and quickly relayed Zhicoal's message, along with handing the small wooden seal to the tall figure infront of him. Thringon examined the small wooden object, observing each detail with expertice. Nodding finally, he motioned for teh rest of the centuars to leave, much to Eligh's concealed relief.
"Come. The king will see you all." he said, his deep voice echoing through Eligh's mind, setting a light of success in his eyes.

(Lol it's good to be back! *huggles, SG* I was worried that I would have to recreate an account and start over because I tried to change my e-mail address on my profile, and then it just wouldn't let me log back in. I finally got it to work though so it's all good now)
Rayen dismounted Adahy and walked up behind Eligh. She kept a wary eye on the centaurs as they approached. They didn't seem to happy to see visitors.
She couldn't help, but stare at them all. She had never seen creatures such as these centaurs before. She wasn't sure what to think about them. Half-man, half-horse. She had heard of horses before, but, like most of the Yanua, she had never seen them.
When finally the centaur who appeared to be the group's leader, Thringon, seemed satisfied with the token that Zhicoal had sent, they followed the centaurs to see the king. Rayen stayed close to Eligh as they walked, and Adahy remained protectively at her side. Rayen wondered what this centaur king would be like.

Eligh and the rest of the group followed the Centuars throught Mienora, all of them seemed to be a bit... Worried. Anxious. Scared. When Eligh mentioned this to Thringon, the Centuar frowned.
"The full moon aproaches... They are preparing to stay in hiding for as long as we have to." With this less than elaborate explaination, they continued on, barely another centuar in sight. Once they reached the highest ridge in the crater, a massive, thick-pillared, intricate arch rose up from the ground of stone and dirt, seemingly grown rather than carved, its winding designs of the centuars history etched with ancient expertice.
"Thringon, how long have the centuars occupied Mienora?" At this, Thringon laughed, a deep, merry laugh, one that Eligh would love to hear on a regular basis. If only the centuars were happier.
"The centuars have occupied Mienora for longer than anyone can remember, young human. Though if you want a more accurate answer, I would as Hiemar, the local historian. But, back to the present, the king's hall is just ahead." Thringon lead them into a large room, less of a hall, and more of a large circular room with a vast domed cieling.
In the center of the room, a large circular, but not very deep depresion caught Eligh's eye. It had layers of blankets, rich in color, along with several floor pillows. There, several centuars, whom he presumed to be the king's council men, and the king were speaking. Though Eligh could have easily understood what they were saying, he didn't heed it, as he was too busy staring at the king. More precicly, the kings hair.
It was long, striaght, and looked just like any other hair, but it was as if he had bleached in the sun. Now that Eligh looked back at Norokai, it was about as golden as his eagles feathers. These creatures were wierd. But, when the room fell silent, Eligh had no time to ponder it any longer. Noticing that everyone was staring at them, Eligh was about to clear his throat when Thringon spoke up.
"Your majesty," He said, not bowing. Obviously, there were not that many formalities amoung centuars. "These humans come from Siomyne, Zhicoal sent them." With this simple explaination, The king nodded and rose easily from his spot on the floor.
"Hail, Yanua. May I ask your names?" He said, his voice, deep, but not as deep as Thringon's, contained warmth, compassion, and a certain wisdom that gave Eligh a special confidence.
"I am Eligh." He said simply, and looked back, waiting for the others for answer.

((*huggles Artemis* I missed you while you were gone! Glad everything's working now!))
Inanco swallowed past the lump in his throat. Being surrounded by these strange creatures made him nervous. "My name is Inanco." he said.

"I'm Everya." She said inclining her head to the Centaur King. Everya looked around and marveled at all the sights around her. She had seen centaurs but never their palace and where they lived. It amazed her.

(Thanks, Elenya! *Huggles back*)
Rayen gaped at the room filled with the centaur king and his men. She didn't know how long it would take to get used to being around these strange creatures. She shook herself out of her awe when she realized that everyone else was introducing herself. She dipped her head respectfully to the king. "And I am Rayen. Thank you for seeing us, your majesty."

The king chuckled slightly,
"No, of course. Really, there is no need for such fomalities, Rayen. The centuars learned long ago that they only cause delays and discomfort. Please, come with me." As they walked slowly back to the depression in which the king was before, he explained:
"By the way, My name is Lasuarr, and you may call me by that name, without titles." He sat, and the centuars there nodded a very small nod to the newcomers. "These are my council men, Jiesan, Rhienok, Nirko'ar, Holrick, and Tiesa. If you have any need of assistance, come to them, Thringol, or myself." Eligh couldn't help but raise his eyebrows a little. The centuars were so casual with royalty. "Now." Lasuarr continued, "Back to buisness, you will come and explain to us, all of you, as to why you are here, and especially why so near the full moon."

Rayen blushed slightly. She had really had no idea of how to act around royalty. She was glad that the centaurs were so informal, but it was surprising.
"Lasuarr," she said a little awkwardly, finding it odd to address a king by his given name, when he asked what they were doing there, "Zhicoal sent us. The Yanua have trouble. Creatures... called Julare have invaded our homeland, and... something is happening with the Toru-hi...." She trailed off and gave a brief glance in Eligh's direction. He was Toru-hi, and what with all that was happening with the Toru-hi, she couldn't help but worry for him.

"Something is wrong with the Toru-hi? What is happening?" he asked, rather plain with words. At the mention of Julare, Lasuarr nodded thoughfully, then reached up to stroke his curly golden beard.
Julare..... Aye, I have heard of them... And.. Were there any.. Kyenari, perhaps?" He asked, quite aprehensive.

"The Toru-hi are dieing, one by one. They fall ill, and cannot be healed. One died the day before we left," Selbron said, "The names Selbron by the way..." he added...

"It's only a matter of time before another one dies." Everya said. She did fear for her life, being a Toru-hi. She glanced at Eligh and Selbron as they too were both Toru-hi.
