I love Peter's and Susan's character. I loved how in the real world, they were forced to grow up so much faster than they should to look out for their little siblings, and in Narnia, they can let go of that responsibility. I generally love those types of characters
And admittedly, William Moseley is a cutie, but I prefer Peter Pevensie. And just the title, High King Peter the Magnificent is just too awesome.
EDIT: In Prince Caspian, at the end Aslan tells Peter and Susan that they are getting too old for Narnia and so when Peter and Susan goes through the door back to the real world they can no longer come back.

Agreed. It's the characters I go for, if the actor/actress is gorgeous, then that's a bonus but character is what's important.

Is it alight if I join? I've been wanting to join for a while, but never have.
I've read The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe, The Silver Chair, and The Last Battle. I've also seen the movie.
My favorite character is Jadis. All hail the Queen of Narnia!

Some people go for characters, some for the insightful story or a great plot or meaningful themes, the battle for good vs. evil etc etc... but I.... I go for the costumes!! As I have mentioned before I love Susan's green archery dress... perhaps I should make a club only for fans of her dress!! *shifty eyes* That would be great!!
And while I am here and have already disturbed the peace of the club, allow me to express my highest appreciation of Jadis' fighting skills - she rules with those swords!!

Welcome DP! Enjoy your stay here.
Narnia also was shorter than LotR, and as such, easier to read...

^But for me, on the other hand, Narnia gets a TINY bit hard to read if you haven't been introduced to the books under 10 years of age.
My favorite character in the book was Susan and in the movie, it was Peter ---- hmmmm well now that I think about it maybe it was Susan..... Either way, I love Susan.

^ Really? My fav. has always been Peter....no particular reason of course .....
I suppose it would get hard to read, but at least it isn't telephone sized like LOTR!

Narnia? Hard to read? I started reading Narnia when I was 11 I think. I read them starting with MN and finishing with TLB.
Usually it takes me 3 days to read one of the books. This week I read TLB and PC.
My favorite has always been King Tirian son of Erlian ever since I first read TLB.
