"We need to de-Middle-earth-ify them, not make them more M-E like!" Pierce smiled as she tossed Legolas a pair of sunglasses. He looked at her, then the glasses and then back at Pierce and shrugged. Pierce put them over his eyes and Legolas stumbled around as his perfect elven eyes when they became dark.

"Here, put this on." Autumn tossed Sam her t-shirt. He shrugged and pulled it on. It was a bit long on him, but it helped to cover up his strange-for-the-time-and-place clothes.

Jenna started to rummage through her bag, looking for anything. She pulled out a baseball cap and a long green scarf.
"Here." She said to Pippin, and plunked the hat on his head, it was too big so she adjusted the size. She threw the scary to Gimli.
"Put it on."

Lisa muffled the hysterical laughter she was feeling at this queer site, and hoped desperately that they didn't see anyone.
