Read the darn series and stop reading spoilers.

Actually, I'm not really reading spoilers--you haven't mentioned what actually happens in the book, you've just implied it all, which is almost as good.

Why would you ever want to ruin a series for yourself? Dragonlance is such a great series.

Lol. I love knowing what happens in a series. It makes things less confusing. Heh, if I hadn't done that with Forgotten Realms I would have been completely lost in the Hunter's Blades trilogy, instead of just mostly lost.

^I can't believe you spoilered the complete Legend of Drizzt series!
!!!!!!!!!
seriously, there's no point reading Hunter's Blades if you don't understand all the nuances of Drizzt's character that bring him up to that juncture in his life. Drizzt is like an onion (haha). he's so multi-layered that there's no way you can be fully obsessed with him unless you read the entire series.

Hey, I have a question vaguely regarding Dragonlance - I'm mildly obsessed with a videogame a kid I babysit owns called Dark Alliance, which seems a lot like Dragonlance, and upon reading the small print on the back of the Xbox game case I discovered it's connected to something called Forgotten Realms. Yes, I was reading the copyrights. I'm a nerd. So is that connected somehow...? The game is actually called Dark Alliance II: Baldor's Gate.
And someone wanna explain to me the next book that needs reading after Dragons of Autumn Twilight?

*spazzes* you should have seen my grin BALDURS GATE I WANT THAT GAME SO BADLY *starts jerking spasm-ishly on the floor* I actually played the first Baldur's Gate at my friend's house, and aside from the graphics and the fact that making my moon elf leap is faster than making him simply walk... it was cool
Yes, FR is similar in many ways to DL due to the fact that they're both DnD material and they share authors. Very closely affiliated actually. Perhaps the most notable difference is that the world of Krynn (DL) seems to be much more tamed and politics/religion oriented (a much closer metaphor to the real world) than Toril (FR). I actually prefer Krynn, as R.A. Salvatore (FR's trademark author) has an annoying habit of bringing out the best in everything and everyone.

I didn't spoiler the entire Drizzt series....I just had been surfing on ArmsOfValor.net a while back and some of the swords were Drizzt's. Naturally, I looked him up, since I hadn't heard of him before. That's all I have ever done in terms of researching The Forgotten Realms.....and it proved enough that I was not overwhelmed with ignorance when I read Hunter's Blades.
So there.

I didn't think they were that great, but that's just my opinion after starting in the middle of the series.

I'm definitely in on that...I'm KitiaraBrightblade. Anyway...I'm so excited, I just found my Dragons of Summer Flame, I thought I had lost it.
