lol, when ROTS came out I bought the kid version because I had not yet learned to navigate the adult section. But then later I bought the New Essential Guide to Characters and the New Essential Chronology, which, BTW, is an excellent book.

Lol, Elvish. Since I rarely have the chance to go to a library, and I go to bookstores only a little more frequently, I went straight for the 'adult' section. Which also is probably because, while I had watched all of the Star Wars original series when I was 4 or 5 years old (I remember it, too), I had never really understood it. It was until I was seven or so, and had just seen The Phantom Menace, that I started on the books--I read the original trilogy, then some of the Jedi Apprentice books, but I never really got into those ones. Instead, I read the novelisations (adult) and the other EU books.
Have any of you read any of the Legacy of the Force books? I haven't had a chance to read any of them, and I really want an opinion on how they were--I read the reviews on TF.net (theforce.net), but that just makes me want an opinion from someone I know even more.

Nope, haven't read them. I've read the plots on the Wookipedia, but I can't remeber much about them. Sorry.
Lol, I used to love the Jedi Aprentice books. Those are the ones about Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan, right?

Yep, those are the ones, Elvish. They were okay, but I eventually grew out of them.
...darn. I had something to say, and I just forgot it.

Don't you just hate when that happens?
I finally grew out of them last school year, along with my Qui-Gon obsession. lol, the only reason I pardoned TPM for being such a disapointment was because he was in it. (I wasn't a fangirl, I just thought he was incredibly awesome)

I thought TPM was cool because of Darth Maul. Maul is cool. Maul is very cool.
I though AotC just stunk, though. It was awful. Dooku was a very boring character. However, Maul was cool, and Grievous was cool.

AOTC was very disappointing. The dialogue and acting was flat, there was too much romance, and it just didn't have that zing that makes a movie great.
Chris Lee was much better at Saruman than Dooku. lol, how could I forget about Darth Maul? He and Grievous are incredibly great villains. They both shod have lasted a lot longer than they did. lol, my little sister was, at one point, practically a Maul fangirl. It was a little, um, creepy.

I still love the Jedi Apprentice books. I also love the Jedi Quest books (Anakin's training), even though those are fewer in number.
And I'll readily admit to doing the same thing with Wookieepedia. I've read very few of the post-RotJ novels, yet I know a majority of the plots. I also haven't read many of the pre-TPM novels (though I'm currently working on Cloak of Deception).
Has anyone read the Darth Bane novel yet? I don't have it yet because I'm waiting for it to go to paperback (hard-backed books are just too expensive), but I really want it. Is it any good?

Haha--I go to TheForce.net and read their book reviews.
Which is why I also really really want to read the Darth Bane book, PotR. It looks really good.

I don't. There are a bunch of them that would make terrible movies, such as the "Galaxy of Fear" ones. Those are terrible.

Hmm. I don't know. I'll probably try to rent ROTJ, but I don't know.
