Tricia walked around town, she didn't really have a purpose to be there, soon she came across a simple store, but she went in any was. Tricia was supprised by how many items the shop had. Then she saw it, a dagger, it was beatiful. "Like what Merrick would like." She said softly. She bought it with out a second thought, sure that depleted her money almost half, but it was worth it.

Annalett was walking through the store, looking at all the objects. She picked up a beautiful amulet. She picked it up for a closer look, then through the shelf saw a girl pic up a just-as-beautiful dagger. She tucked a strange of orange hair behind her ear and walked around the shelf.
"That's a beautiful dagger. My name's Annalett by the way," she said to the stranger...

Tricia put her money pouch and dagger away, as she turned to the young girl beside her. "Tricia. Yes, it is a nice dagger, isn't it. I would never have bought one before, but this, it reminds me of someone." Her voice trailed off.

Annalett nodded.
"Yes, I know how you feel. I once bought this horse that I didn't need, just because it seemed like a twin to an old friend's horse," she smiled a little.
"Are you a visiter to this town? I've grown up, and live here, and don't think I've ever seen your face before."

Tricia nodded. "Yes, I cam upon the town as a wedding was taking place as well." She sighed, she had been fine, rarely thinking of Merrick, untill she saw the wedding. "I just wish we could get married." She said to her self, lost in thought.

She could sense that this piece was the root of her troubles, the reason her village was maliciously slaughtered. Glancing around the tavern she continued to drink in silence, planning her next course of action.
Danae stiffened visibly when the woman came and sat down across from her. Her hand tightened around her pouch so that the shard dug painfully into her palm. She had to make herself relax her hold for fear that she would bring blood. Her hand then went instead to the hilt of the dagger she kept inside her coat. She fingered the hilt, finding some solace at having her weapons close at hand if she needed to use them.
She relaxed somewhat when the woman's eyes turned away from her. She didn't like the way she had looked at her, as if she knew everything that was going on. It made Danae feel uncomfortable. Wishing to fill the pressing silence somehow, she lifted her hand to stop one of the barmaids passing by. "More ale," she said stiffly. She passed a few coins, profits of a robbery she had comitted on the road shortly before her pursuers struck, across the table to the maid. Then as the maid scurried away to get the ale, Danae let her eyes slide back to the woman who sat across from her. _________________ I'm back!

Annalett again nodded to Tricia's first words. It was obvious Tricia was sad about something. Quickly Annalett changed the subject.
"Tonight in the village square we're shooting off fireworks."

Tricia snapped back to realitly. "Oh that sounds wonderful. That will give me a chance to rest a bit as well, I travel alot. Well, I have been for the last 3 years."

"I don't really pay any attention as to where I go. I just go where ever." Tricia said as they walked. She saw a couple walking and holding hands. She quickly averted her eyes and looked at the ground.

"hm... someday I hope I could go traveling, but for now I have to take care of my sick mother at home. The flu just went around the town not long ago, and only a few are left with it. About ten people died," Annalett shook her head, and stuffed her hand in her pocked, were a shard was kept at all times.

"Yes, in away, I haven't seen them in 15 years. I was only ten." Tricia's hand went to her pouch. Her grandmother, she had given her the shard, she must have known about Tricia, but her grandmother died only a few months before she left.

"My father owns the local Inn, if you need a room, just say so. Though right now we're almost booked up. So many strange travelers have come and gone within the last week. Say, have you been traveling on foot, or by horse or boat?"
