Denathies shook her head slightly at Deawen's prodding. "Hello there." she said to Elegost. "Nothing to worry about, really. My friend and I are carpenters, and we were concerned about the condition of-" she stopped as the wheels of one of the carts fell off. "the carts..." she trailed off. "Oh dear." she said. Taking Deawen by the hand, she sprinted away from the hill where her fellow tribesman were hiding and into the forest two hundred meters north.

Deawen yelped again as her foot was wrenched from the wheel then halfway scraped on dirt and rocks as she was pulled up the hill " Id' rather not be shot!" Deawen shouted as she regained her footing despite her foot she sprinted.

"Nor would I but if we hide there shall be no need to get shot!" Denathies replied.

Kolth's face grew a bright shade of red reserved only for the times when he was thorough ly and dangerously irked. He nudjed Storm, who senced Kolth's anger and immediatly high-tailed it thorough the forest. He caught up with the two women and ran between them. If they were smart, they'd move. Now, with one on each side, he threw the reigns over the pommel and reached down, grabbing both of them. He hoisted the girls up: not comfortably, but at least they'd live through this ride. Kolth couldn't guarantee what would become of them after they escaped. He kicked Storm agian, and the horse sped up again through hidden paths.

"Thank you." said Denathies said to Kolth. "We would never have made it on our own."

Deawen scowled " we would have lived..." Deawen grumbled poking both
Kolth and Denathies. Deawen noticed Kolth's redness " Let me guess the umm ... Orome-confine-You-Deawen-What-were-you-thinking-speech is just around the corner?" Deawen said mockingly. Deawen didn't like being On Kolth's horse she preferred her smooth gaited stallion but didnt' dare enrage Kolth further since she really wasn't supposed to bring her horse. since they were :duh: easily tracked.

Niniën sprinted in the direction of where Kolth was heading to, not losing the caravan and its commanders from her sight. She zigzagged through the forest and jumped on the path where she knew the three of her tribe would appear soon. She put her hands on her hips and smiled as she waited for them. "Hello there Kolth. I guess you came right in time..as usual."

In preparation to ford, Rothana had dismounted and was checking to see that her smithing equipment was secure in the back of one of the carts. It wouldn't do to loose valuable tools to the combination of rough footing and water. She had just finished retying the last of the bindings when her attention was captured by a collapsing cart further up the line. And then another.

Sooner or later, someone would come rushing up to her, probably about reinforcing something with something. She'd better go see what was needed.

Swinging up onto her mare, the smith guided her over to the commotion and dismounted, leading the horse. She took a moment to assess the situation. Carts and contents at awkward angles, two small figures scrambling up a far hill, and men shouting orders. The only thing she could do anything about was the carts.

Wordlessly, she tied Lady up to a stationary cart and began to help the collapsed cart's driver, clearing the mess away from around the failed section, which appeared to be the rear axle. She'd have to see what she could do about that; carts were a precious commodity for travellers.

A determined gust of wind rushed down the constant breeze, whipping her skirt about. It caught on the splintered end of the axle, leaving her occupied with untangling it. She tried to work it loose gently. Patching clothes was such a bother.

Denathies glared at Deawen. "With you and your wounded ankle? Hardly." she sighed again. "We shall have to be much more cautious in the future."

Whatever you guys want is fine with me. It's just I've been waiting for the other tribesman to post, which has made it rather difficult to post.

When they were finally in the clear Kolth pulled Storm to a halt and dropped the two women. "What were you thinking?!" He asked, a feral growl tinting his voice. "Of all the stupid, idiotic things...You two are by far the worst!" Niniën appeared in front of them, a smile on her face. "Niniën stayed in her place, like I asked you to do. What is so hard about a simple command!?" Kolth could feel even more wrath well up in his chest, but he held it down. No doubt warriors from the caravan would come to look for them. "We should be going" He said ubruptly. A horse was easily tracked in the forest. They needed to get to harder, less forested ground where even the skilled trackers would loose thier way. he extended a hand to Niniën, allowing her the choice to ride the distance. He didn't give that luxury to Deawen or Denathies. They could walk.

" no not really I wouldn't have gotten far But You could have...I was willing to sacrifice myself since it was my stupidity. "
Deawen sighed and placed her forearm over her forehead In a dramatic pose ' Oh Kolth is making us walk what Shall we do!?" Deawen said as dramaticaly as possible. she laughed and sat down removing her boot. Her ankle was bruised nothing more she put her boot back on and stood up Defiantly " Sides I never follow Men's orders.." Deawen said dusting the dust off her face and clothes.

"Hold your judgement until you know the full story." Denathies shot back at Kolth icily. "She ran out to disable the carts, got her foot caught and was seen. I would not have gone out had she had her foot injured. If you still wish for me to walk, so be it. She is in no condition to walk, at least have the compassion to see that. My horse is not far from here, she may use that." she said defiantly. "This shall not interfere with our mission. I will stay and destroy any who attempt to find you. Now go before you are caught." she snarled.

" I thank you Denathies for your help but it is not needed...I am fine " Deawen said smiling. " If anyone follows they will have to break up their forces in order to follow...If Kolth goes one way and You go another and I stay on foot and go a diffirent way which one would you choose? the fast horses that could be long gone or the one on foot? " Deawen asked taking a small step forward " I't just a bruise, slow me down a bit but i work better alone not having to worry 'bout others.
'What are your Orders Kolth?" Deawen asked bitterly.
