yeah, i really like them. i love their whole sixties vibe - i mean, the introduction to their very first song is basically the instrumental from the monkees' i'm a believer, so they had me right from the start.

Against all my sanity, reason, better judgment, and effort, I'm going to have to admit that I do like them. I'm still trying to decide if I'm going to strangle tim4x for it or not. I think me liking them comes mainly from the fact that all of them [except poor Tom] are hot [though Harry's definitely the hottest], and from the fact that their songs get stuck in your head waaaaaay too easily and are incredibly fun, both to sing obnoxiously loudly and badly to and to dance around like an idiot to.
I don't like their covers however, so I pretty much just ignore the fact that those exist and listen to their other songs.

^With my own intestines? W00T! I agree. Tom is weird looking in a way I can't quite place... The creepy thing about their songs is that the lyrics are too easy to learn, and once you learn them you HAVE to sing along. It's impossible not too. You should have seen me dancing to Friday Night at the bus stop.

^I guess if it makes you happier that way. I know. Tom is weird looking, and the onyl reasons I've been able to figure out why are that his eyebrows don't match his hair and that his hair looks gross when it's long. It looks ok in a fauxhawk though. *hearts fauxhawks* But especially in the Transylvania video, when they're dressed up as the "royal ladies" with their wigs on and Tom sings "Who is you lover?" I get freaked out. Because he just looks creepy.
Agreed about their lyrics though.

I agree with everything you said. ESPECIALLY the Transylvania part. (:laugh:) Harry definitely has the best hair. And eyes. And face. And everything else (;)).

Dougie is shmexy. Second hottest. And altogether rather loveable. I can see why Harry likes to cuddle with him all the time. And his piercing looks kissable. *giggles*

haha. i'd love to have seen the reactions of everyone else at the bus stop. it is practically compulsory to sing and dance along to mcfly though. it's also nigh on impossible not to smile, which is why they're on the list of my 'happy music' - they always cheer me up.

i totally agree about harry and dougie - harry's gorgeous and dougie is just so cute. it also cracks me and my sister up that he (i mean dougie) appears to be practically forbidden from speaking cuz every time he does open his mouth he says something really bizarre or really rude.

on another mcfly-related train of thought, me and me sister once adapted the lyrics to five colours in her hair to make it about on of our friends, so now i have a bad habit of singing those lyrics instead of the real ones. especially bad as he whole thing is a string of inside jokes that only about 6 people in the world would understand.

^Thankfully, I wait alone. The reactions of people at my lunch table when I break into song are priceless though. They do make great happy music, some of it, even if it's not supposed to be cheery, is so cheesy that you have to smile.
Which makes me wonder, if I ever get to a McFly concert... will it even be possible for me to stay in my seat?

Yes, second. Harry obviously has a good choice in men. Though I'm not sure about the piercing myself. I'm glad that Harry doesn't wear his eyebrow one anymore.

Yeah. I really can't take them seriously at all. I think at the end of their documentary of life on the road, Harry said something like "We're hoping people are going to start taking us more seriously." And all I could do was laugh because... they can't be serious. But that's alright. I like them like that. And no tim4x, there's no way you'll be able to stay in your seat. McFly music needs to be danced to. It just does. It's impossible not to.

I've only heard a couple songs by McFly... I can't really say that I like them. Maybe i'll have to give them another chance though... they are so cute that they deserve a little love
