Well, was there a wise elf type person? Because I thought I remembered some wise lady character...
No, that doesn't automatically make her copied.

I haven't read it for a long time...
Nope there isn't... there is someone similar to Arwen though *cougharyacough*

Err...so they look the same in appearance and are both Elves?
I dont think Arya would stay home and sew a banner for Eragon, as Arwen did for Aragorn.
Their personalties are totally different. Arya's a great warrior and all, but Arwen NEVER even kills an orc. and we're talking books; not movies. and Arwen always pouts about when Aragorn is gonna come back and blah blah. they are different.
so I suppose CP isnt allowed to have a dark-haired female Elf in the books? cuz then its automatically copied from Arwen!

Oh, they definitely did not look the same... Arwen was more beautiful and more Elf-like.
Well you would not know about Arwen... she most likely did kill in Orc - many, even - in all of her 2901 years of living. And no, Arwen does not pout about Aragorn... Elves have more dignity than that. At least Tolkien Elves do. And we're talking books; not movies
Well, Aragorn and Eragon are different. Eragon is way less mature than Aragorn is (not meaning any offense). Aragorn was raised by Elves. So obviously they would be treated differently by Elves, don't you think?
And I do not recall saying that Arya was copied from Arwen... I believe I said "similar to".

I guess I was thinking of that witch lady. Angela, I think her name is?
She's not like Galadriel, I guess... but she does have some Galadriel-like qualities.

That's it.
I didn't say that there was someone exactly like Galadriel.
I said that it was a Galadriel-ish lady.
Which implies that she isn't exactly like Galadriel, but somewhat similar.

Well most of it really does.
Tolkien is fantasy. Go figure.
And no they are not silly... only the last two that we just said were less true

I just saw a screencap from the Eragon movie of Murtagh.
My god.
He looks like one of those gangster/biker people you see around bars.

I mean, he has the right hair...
And worst of all...
He. Was. Wearing. Studded. Pants. [dies] That's pathetic.

Haha I know... his clothes did not really suit the time that the story was set in. And he acts like one too... smug and snobbish with an I-am-better-than-everyone-else attitude.
