Summer stood on the balcony of her orange stone castle. Yes, orange, like sunlight. She stood there, gripping the hand rail with force, her orange hair over her face. And the rain pouring down on her. Summer dare not yet try to push it back, for it had Winter's signature coldness in it's presence. She started getting angrier, her tanned knuckled turning white. She never trusted Winter, never even liked her. They were complete opposites, as night is from day. With a yell, a burste of sunlight shown through the cloud, blinding anyone who was looking. A few minutes later she walked down to the garden in a huff and found April, March, and Spring.
"I'm tired of Winter ruining my season... it should be a time of swimming, parties, and sun not such dark clouds covering the sun..." she growled.
"Spring, we must end this storm... you and I together should be able to stop it!"


July walked along the side of a pond, humming, oblivious of the storm until it started raining. Then she thought it was just a shower from one of her sisters, until she realized how cold it was. Shaking her head, she jumped into the pond, but quickly got out, realizing that was cold from the rain as well. She made herself warm and went to find Yune and August.
"The pond was cold... we must do something... I hate the cold..." she said sitting next to them...

Autumn walked around trying to get away from the rain but it was apparent that it was impossible. She walked along and found September. "I wish the rain would let up a bit and not be so cold. Why does Winter have to rain on our parade all the time? Can't she just leave the rest of us alone!" Autumn was getting angrier. "We need to revolt against Winter. Get revenge! Three Cheers For Sweet Revenge!"

February sent out gusts of freezing cold wind to accompany the icy rain. She revelled in the freezing temperature and the thought of ruining Summer and Spring, but nothing showed on her perpetually blank face. To everyone else around her, she seemed just as bereft of emotion as ever.

January, on the other hand, was the exact opposite. A smile was spread across her coldly beautiful face, and she even let out the occasional girlish giggle. She laid her fingertips on everything in her path that was growing, green, and beautiful and watched it freeze under her touch. Doing evil was just what she did best, and she loved it.

"I compleately agree" replied Yune to July "But what? We're the best able to defend against Winter, and i can't seem to even move this storm even a little way, i doubt even Summer herself could move it."

"But what if... what if Summer, Autumn, Spring... March, April, May, you, me, August, September, October, and November all got together... we should then be able to take down Winter... I mean, I'm sure Summer and Spring could take care of this cloud..." July said, her warm breath starting to show.
"That's not supposed to happen," July said, jumping up and freaking out...

Winter walked quietly up to December. "That should be enough, then," she said. "Don't want them getting suspicious, now do we?"
Even as she said it, though, she got the feeling that they undoubtedly would be.


April looked up at the cloud, hoping it would disappear soon. "I don't know," she said to the others. "She's quite powerful if she can send this cloud over here."

"Normally i would have said yes" she said looking worridly at the clouds of breath comeing from July. Her own breath was cold by comparison and so did not show, yet. "But i'm not so sure, the summer has always been the strongest in oppasition to the winter. And now July's hot breath is turned cold and Junes storm winds can't push a thunder cloud out of the way..."

"Nevertheless we will have to try to stop her together. It is the only way." Spring said softly. "If we fail, all that is good and beautiful will fall to this frost." She turned for a brief moment and stared in the distance, lost in troubling thoughts. "And I shall not see the beauty of nature wither so." she added as she turned to back to the rest gathered, an uncharacteristic edge tinting her voice. As a woman of temperate behavior, it was unusual to see her so angry, her emerald eyes flashing. She stared at the cloud that hovered over them, before turning back to the group once more. “Shall we combine our powers then and be rid of this frigid air?” she asked.

August nodded. Deep inside her she felt a bundle of heat she would use to warm this winter wind.

Spring nodded to Summer and August. A soft golden light surrounded her and a gentle warmth filled the air as activated her powers along with August.

Summer filled the air around them with a bright light, and made the air hotter.
"Push the clouds back," she whispered, closing her eyes. With her powers she reached out and tried to push it back, only being able to move it a few feet on her own...

August gathered her strength and shoved the clouds. Their powers working together were much stronger than the sum of thier individual power. By working togeather thier powers were compounded and intensified. The cloud moved back even farther.

March joined in, using her powers to push against the clouds, warming them at the same time.
