Smeag and the group followed the path of the "scouts" to find that it ended at a small campsite right outside of Weathertop.

Smeag laughed at Shadowcat right before she stood up. "Alright," she said, "They could not have gone far, and, if I were them I would have gone..." Smeag looked around at the surrondings until her eyes stopped at she caught glance up Weathertop, "There."

Shadowcat took a deep breath, then walked into the rock bottom of Weathertop. A few seconds later, she reappeared on top and hid behind a ruin.
