Raelyn seemed a little uneasy around thranduil. " i think we should go on.." she told airmelero. " i think we just shouldnt bother him with our presents..." she said hoping the stubborn Airmelero would listen to her for once.

Elenriel remained silent at this, not excited about facing the King. But nevertheless, if the group decided to seek an audience with King Thranduil she would be among them.

Tulmind gave a sarcastic smirk, "Yes I remeber you well. And If you don't mind I'm better now and I would like to have my blades returned to me." He also noted to other who had joined them... a princess named... Elenriel was it? Maybe she was not so stuck up, "Yes, I am Tulmind." he smiled stretching his black clad arm out for a hand shake.

Elenriel smiled as she shook Tulmind's outstretched hand. "A pleasure to meet you." she said, nodding in approval as she saw his scimitars. "Good." she said quietly. "Mighty weapons for a mighty warrior." With that her expression darkened as she looked away and her thoughts turned toward the king. She knew he would be furious with her for trying to leave Mirkwood's borders to discover the danger the dwarves where in. A princess was never to overstep her place-yet she had done so. My husband would have done the same. she thought bitterly. But perhaps Thranduil would have taken heed of him while he ignored me. Mayhap with a group of us here, he will be more apt to send aid. The King is not a ruthless man, just stubborn. Perhaps now, with our company gathered together he will see the need to send a company to aid our allies.

Tulmind smiled and looked to the ground while rolling over a stone with his foot... he had never been called a mighty warrior before. Almost falling over when he hopped off the horse Tulmind struggled to regain his composture. He would need to be presentable for Thranduil, the most stubborn he knew.

They were led into the courtyard of Thranduil's halls where he sat on his throne and watched them thoughtful as they were entering.
"Mae govannen!", Airemelero said. "We have come from Gondor and were sent to aid the dwarves of the Lonely Mountain."

Elenriel stood beside Lady Raelyn, nodding her head in deference to her father-in-law after they had entered. King Thranduil scanned the company, his eyes finally coming to rest on her. "My king." Elenriel said quietly, not wanting to meet his gaze.
"Daughter, you have been busy." he said, his voice remaining neutral. "We shall discuss your disappearance later." he added before turning his gaze from her. Elenriel grimaced inwardly but her face remained impassive. She glanced around the throne room briefly and caught the gaze of Captain Sadron. As their eyes met she instinctively knew that he was the one who informed the king of her plans. Why? her eyes screamed at him.
I could not let you undertake such a mission on your own. His eyes seemed to answer. Had you not returned with this company, the king would have sent the guard after you.
Elenriel looked away from him, clearly frustrated. Had such an incident occurred, she knew that Thranduil would be wroth with her for wasting the might of the army.
A silence passed for a moment then King Thranduil spoke once more. "Mae govannen, travelers.” His eyes then drifted upon Lady Raelyn. “Welcome to Mirkwood, my lady.” he said in greeting, recognizing Lord Aragorn’s daughter. His gaze then returned to Airmelero. "Tell me ranger, what is it that you seek?”

Raelyn smiled softly at him trying not to show her fear.

"We were sent in great haste out of the far south to aid the dwarves as I said Our company is small and we can only hope to achieve our goal with disguise and not with might. Therefore I would ask you in the name of king Elessar to help us destroy the shadow that fell on these lands for your halls will not long be unaffected."

Thranduil looked at Airemelero thoughtfully. He knew that the ranger's words were true, knowing that King Aragorn would have to be greatly concerned for him to send his daughter with the group. Although she was highly skilled, he knew that the King loved her dearly and could not bear to lose her. King Thranduil remained deep in thought for sometime. He knew he owed King Elessar much, yet to risk the danger to his army for the dwarves? Although his son had befriended one, he did not share the same connection with their kind. "You request much, stranger." he said finally.
Elenriel raised her head and turned her attention back to the king, knowing that she could not let this chance escape them. If anyone could convince the King to send aid in time to save the dwarves, she knew that this group would be the best chance they had. "My king, please, we must aid them. Would these warriors travel on this way if there was no need? Please my lord, consider this what would your son do?"
Thranduil sighed. "You are a stubborn one, daughter." he replied, a small smile of amusement tracing his lips. "He would have disobeyed me as you have, had I denied him this." Thranduil remained silent for a few moments before looking over the group once more, his eyes resting upon Airemelero. "I admire the courage of you and your companions." he finally said, his eyes never leaving the ranger's face. "Very well, Mirkwood shall aid you in this matter. You may rest here the night if you so desire." He then looked toward the captain of the guard. "Sadron. Prepare the army." he commanded.
"Yes, my king." Sadron replied bowing low before departing the throne room.
Thranduil then his gaze back to Elenriel. "Daughter, when this matter is finished, I would have a word with you in private." he replied sternly.
Elenriel nodded averting her gaze. "Yes, my king." she replied softly, a part of her dreading what was to come.

Tulmind placed his slender hands over the hilts of his scimitars and clenched hard, they would finally save the dwarves. "You did well Elenriel," Tulmind whispered to her.

Elandiel watched in silence. A most peculiar greeting. She noted mentally. She glanced at Tulmind as he spoke, her sharp ears catching his words. "Indeed." she said, whispering her own encouragement.

Tulmind turned to Thranduil and placed his hands on his scimitars and bowed low,"Thank you m'lord."
