Meriana blushed and gasped. she relized that she did have a crush on Gold dusk. she couldnt look at him. she ran out of the water grabed her clothes and ran back to Galitaia's house. she ran inside still wet and closed the door with her back agenst it and cried. she had never been so embarressed in her life..

Galitaia had remade and old tunic so it would fit Meriana as a nearly floorlength dress. The Deep blue material was very sturdy and soft to the touch. SHe had layed it on the bed before going to set up for the party.

Gold Dusk had officiall had it with his sister. He watched as Meriana ran off then snatched his tunic from the bush and pulled it over his head. He then Headed after his sister.

Sun Fire was just about to tell one of the older centars when he clapped his hand firmly over her mouth and said, "Excuse us for a moment please." His dark eyes flashed in anger as he lead her off toward Galitaia's hut. "Where are you taking me?!" Sun Fire demanded in her hight and mighty way. "I'm taking you to apologise for causing Meriana embarrassment, and don't you dare thing you are going to get away with it, becuase I will tell mama and this time she will have proof that you are not the perfect little angel you pretend to be!"

Meriana could hear someone talking outside. she cracked the door open a little bit and saw Gold dusk and sun fire coming. " i don't think i can look at him anymore..he'll know and then...but what if.." she said to herself. she heard the getting closer. she squeezed her eyes shut and tried to stop crying.

Sun Fire looked at her brother, then back at the closed door. "Meriana please open the door, I need to talk to you." She said.

"I was going to apologise!" Sun Fire said now hurt by the stinging remark hurled at her. She turned and looked at her brother. "I tried!" She yelled at him then galloped off toward a stream that ran in the woods behind Galitaia's hut.

Gold Dusk reached out and tilted her chin up so he could look in her eyes, then wiped away the drying tears on her cheeks. "Hi." He said softly back. "I believe you were asking if I had ever felt like I just wanted to hold someone and never let go..." He trailed off and smiled leting go of her chin.

"yes i was. so have you?" she asked still in wonder, she knew she liked him but she wasnt sure as to how. what could be be but more then a friend? was there anything more? she had never seen her parents be openly affectionate with each other so she never knew that two people could be more. she was so care-free that she hadn't even noticed at all. she wanted to know more about this feeling, this wonderous feeling. she needed to talk to Galitaia.

"To amswer your question, yes I have felt that way." He frowned for a moment looking dwon at her, then up at the sky. "You nearly let me forget, if I'm not mistaken there is a dress sitting on the bed in there with a colored sash and a clip for your hair. I sugest you put them on. I'll be back in a few minutes to get you. ok?" He said before turning to go.

Meriana smiled. " alright.." Meriana walked back inside. she saw the dress and smiled. it was beautiful. she carefully sliped it on and and then let her hair out of the pony tail it was in. she found a one of Galitaia's brushes and brushed her hair. she put the small silver pin in her hair and then looked at herself in a mirrior, the mirror was full lenth so Meriana could see her whole self. she smiled and twirled around in the dress. she smiled at it. she wondered why she was getting all dressed up. she wondered where Galiatia had been all day too. hmm...she looked out the window to see if Gold Dusk was here yet.

Gold Dusk came round a tree in time to see Meriana peek out the window. He was wearing a tunic the same shade as her dress, with golden embrodery round the neck and cuffs of the billowed sleves. His hair was still drying from the dip in the lake earlier that day.
