Elenriel swiftly sheathed her daggers and reached for her bow. Fitting an arrow to her weapon, she took aim at the creature attacking Airemelero. Without hesitation, she released the arrow, embedding its sharp point deep within the creature's back. The orc howled in pain as it sank to its knees at Airemelero's feet, giving the ranger a chance to strike.

Raelyn quickly jumped in and tried to stab the orc without stabing Airmelero. " would you two hold still!!" she yelled hoping that would startle the orc. and it did. she quickly stabed the orc in the neck and cut off it's breathing. it soon died after that. she looked at Airmelero. " are you alright?" she asked him.

"I'm fine." Elenriel stated simply. "Just a bit bruised and scratched." she added, knowing that despite her long-sleeved tunic she probably scraped her arms when she dove for her daggers. "But nothing serious. How is everyone else?" she asked.

Airemelero was glad the fight was over. He hated this bloody work but it had to be done. Blood trickled down his left arm. The wound did not bleed much but it seemed deeper than he had thought at first.
"You are right. We must tend our wounds on the way. We have no time to spare."
He ripped a piece of cloth out of his tunic and wrapped it around his wound.
"That will have to do. We must go on now"

Raelyn didn't tell anyone about the wound on her stomach..it was a mear cut. it bled a little. but not too much. she kept walking.

After some time they came to a small bight which seemed to have been cut into the rock. Despite its exictence they could see nothing unusual about it but Airemelero knew that dwarven doors were invisible when closed and not easy to find.
"This must be the right place. You should search for the secret door and I will have the guard. It would be bad if we were surprised by more orcs."

Raelyn walked up closely to the side of the mountain..she couldn't really see anything. " Airmelero...are you sure this is it?" she asked him looking at him like he was crazy.

They searched for many hours in vain.
After nightfall they gave up and encamped in the shelter of the rocks. It was a cloudy night. Airemelero was on guard when suddenly the clouds broke. The moon appeared. He remembered what Gandalf had tol dhim about their journey through Moria and looked hard at the rock. After a few minutes he noticed thin lines of silver but he was sure he didn't see them before. He marked the lines and even as he was finished the moon was veiled by a cloud again.

Raelyn was sleeping soundly on her bedroll. they didn't have a fire becuase they didn't want to be givin away. she was shivering.

Elenriel slept with the others until the sound of scratching on stone awoke her. Rising she glanced briefly at Lady Raelyn who slept soundly but was shivering from the cold. Swiftly removing her traveling cloak, Elenriel gently spread the garment over her sleeping friend. With that she rose and walked over to Airemelero. "Have you found the entrance?" she whispered as not to wake the others.
