Yumeko was pacing back and forth in the entrance hall, impatiently waiting for Takeshi - Raye had sent her with a message.

As she saw Takeshi making his way down she called his name and muttered as he came near enough, "Raye's pretty annoyed. He wanted to know why you didn't wait for his answer on the phone and... you apparently acted immature... or something."

Takeshi smirked boyishly and replied, "He's the one who's acting immature and childish, asking you to tell me this. He isn't some school girl... except if there's something no-one's telling me.", he chuckled to himself.

"Well...", Yumeko bashfully mentioned, "It's a punishment. Nothing serious or anything. I just said something I shouldn't have - that's all."

Takeshi rolled his eyes, "Typical. What does he think he is - a 40-odd old dictator running this place?"

"He DOES technically run this pl-"

"Forget it.", he sighed, "I'm due to assist some class or other."
He made his way down the corrider, leaving Yumeko alone.

Yumeko needed some fresh air, today just seemed dull and stressful. She rushed to the entrance door and made her way outside, until noticing Tai and what it seemed to be an invisible Mai with him.

"Hey Mai," Yumeko greeted her blindly, giving Tai a welcoming nod as well. She crouched down to speak to her properly and asked in a gentle tone, "How are you? Raye and Takeshi are having a petty argument - but just the usual dispute."

Mai looked at Tai and smiled weakly, "You found me then?" Tai smiled back slightly and nodded. "I regained visibility for a while," Mai stated, watching as Tai's eyebrows raised slightly, "And then I walked in to a room with a session going on, and ran to the toilets and when I came out I was invisible again." She concluded, looking back across the grounds.

Moments later, Yumeko's face appeared in front of hers.

"Hey Mai. How are you? Raye and Takeshi are having a petty argument - but just the usual dispute." She said in a gentle tone.

"I'm...ok, I think." Mai replied, "Although I'm pretty down about this invisibility, I really can't get it under control." She added miserably.

"A session with Takeshi might help... but he's been pretty occupied recently. Especially with his planned sessions with Lyn-", she paused, she reliased that the tone of her voice seemed quite envious, so she shook her head and faked a faint smile, "Never mind. I'm sure you'll overcome it with expeirance."

Asha kept walking though the woods. She knew it was probable a stupid thing to do, but her car broke down and she didn't have money to fix it. She also didn't wan't to go into a citys out of fear of being spotted, or accidently causing a nature disaster, witch was why she had to leave home in the first place.

Mai cautiously took the scarf, and tired it around her head. She wasn't quite sure what Tai had in mind, but she trusted him enough to do what he asked. "You know, if I fall down these stairs, I'm going to sue..." She said in an undertone to him. "What do I have to do now?" She asked, louder this time.

"It's easy." Jackie smiled encouragingly and slowed herself down. "Just a bunch of elements strung together, really. Tres facile. See?" She started the step again, counting out the movements. "One and two and one and two, up kick and ankle roll two, back and front, cross, two, one, two ... see?" She did it with the other girl, slowly, almost cautiously, concentrating on her feet. "You do this for a living?" Looking up, she saw that they were slowly loosing the audience - not good, if the girl was dependent on their money. "Come on!" she called, "do it with us!"

And gradually, a brave few started, copying her feet, and then a few more.

"Chained?" Estelle countered. "I heard it is a haven for mutants, where none are held against their will." she replied, her voice equally as low. So he is a mutant. she thought to herself as she leaned back in her seat, all the more wary of him. Yet how did he discover me? she wondered to herself. "And I intend to see this institution for myself." she added her voice filled with determination.

Brody was wandering through the woods behind the HYENA Institute. He took walks often, just so he could get away from all the clamor of people's thoughts in his mind. He smiled as a squirrel scampered across his path- he liked animals.
Gradually, he became aware of other thoughts than his own. Somebody was nearby. Frowning, Brody approached the person, his or her thoughts growing stronger. In a few minutes, he saw a flicker of movement between some trees. "Hello?" he called.

"Jaqueline," she answered, feeling the familiar sense of detachment begin to creep in. Her reflexes were sharpened; her movements became crisper and extremely fine tuned as she gave herself to the dance. "But you can call me Jackie."

The day wasn't exceptionally warm, but all this movement was making her sweat. A mental command, a slight motion of a finger, and a welcome breeze fluttered through the street, stirring litter and cooling the dancers, tossing their hair ever so slightly. Ah. That was better.

The song ended, and she stopped to catch her breath. "Irish, I take it? How'd you end up in London?"

Darius sighed and snapped his fingers before reaching into his pocket, he drew out a simple pocket knife and pressed the blade against his index finger tip.

"This is no matter I am here to negotiate, I am here to stop you from entering that institute, with force if necessary. Forget the institute and you can walk away, otherwise I must get nasty."

He said casually as, if it was his everyday job to deliver death threats to utter strangers.
