Galitaia didn't answer the door, instead it was Zepher. "So you are ingaged?" He asked his face blank of any emotion.

Galitaia stood behind him her face just as blank as their fathers. She didn't say anything, just nodded her head in an almost inpreceptible movement.

Gold Dusk turned and looked at Darren, "And yes I did say she was my sister ... My twin to be exact, and yes I was a centar until earlier today when I asked the dragon up on Dragon's peak to change me to a human for Meriana."

Sun Fire grinned at her brother tossing her firey curls, "You look fantastic ... did you aske her ... what did she say? Oh you must tell me!!!" She pleaded

Gold Dusk looked back at his sister and said, "Of course I asked her, and you know as well as I waht her answer was... She said... YES!!!" He grinned. "Now if you will excuse me I will show our guest to his room." He lead the way to the spare bedroom where he layed out a soft pallet on the straw floor.

Darren was a little surprised. <i> centars...they were only legened that meriana's father used to talk about all the time. until he went crazy and the mayor had him hung. </i> he thought to himself but he couldnt argue with himself about their exsitence...he had just seen one.
Darren smiled at Gold Dusk. " thank you." he said as he walked into the room.

Meriana was a little shocked to see her father. "uh...papa...i can explain..i mean i uh." Meriana didn't know what her fathers reaction would be. tears filled her eyes and she bit her lip as she stood there outside of Galitaia's house.
she knew she had disobeyed her father in going to see him in the first place.

"No Problem." Gold Dusk sid as he headed for his own room.

Zepher continued to black her intrance into the house. "Well ... Are you?" He asked again. "Stop babbaling girl and answer me!!" He finally snapped getting her attention.

Galitaia nodded again this time a little more noticable.

Sun Fire stepped into the room she shared with Gold Dusk. "Are you happy with two legs?" She asked watching as he walked about.
Gold Dusk looked up at her, "Yes actually I am... very much so." He walked over to her. "No matter how I look I'm still the same person. I'm still your loving, over protective, big brother." He smiled and reached out to squeese her hand.

A wide grin spread across Zepher's face and he stepped backward allowing Meriana to enter. "Be Welcome favored daughter." He said using the same words he had used with Galitaia.

Galitaia stepped forward placing a crown of woven flowers on Meriana's head, then kissing her on both cheeks. The house had been decorated as if for a party and many of the hurd elders had gathered there.

Meriana didn't understand. " but papa..." she looked around surprised. she looked at Galitaia as she put the flowers on her head. a slight smile come on her face as she looked around at everyone. but she was still wondering why they were all there.

"Your display in the clearing at dinner explained everthing, and when Gold dusk said he had changed for you ... that also did alot to tell everyone. There was no need for gosip." Galitaia said as she leag Meriana into the sitting area where the elders had gathered.

Galitaia smiled and disapeared into the kitchen. While she was gone one by one the elders bestowed their blessings on her. For some it was nor more than a simple kiss on the forehead, for others, it was a gift they had made specifically for her. All were beautifuly done and give with elegance.

Meriana almost cried, she was so thankful for everything! she smiled as one of the elders gave her a rose and told her that she was more beatiful then this rose and that he knew Gold Dusk would love her always. Meriana took that to heart. she bowed to him and smelled the rose.
after everything was done she spoke. " thank you all for doing this for me. i really don't know what else to say. you are all wonderful." she grined.

Galitaia chose that time to reapear carying a large beautifually decorated cake which she set dwon on a tablein the middle of the room. "And this little sister is my gift to you." She said smileing. "May your marriage be sweeter than the iceing on this cake and may it last for eternity."
