Exactly. I would personally like to read a book all about Arya and her adventures...it sounds like she had an interesting past. (The mysterious elf who died? hmmm...)
But...that might just be because I'm female.
Either way, Eragon is acting like a hormone-induced idiot. Does he think this will make her like him? (Oh. I forgot. In Eragon's world, everything revolves around him, and there's a guarantee of a happy ending. So yeah, anything he does will get them together.)

I do not know about that. Remember what Angela said about an epic love, but wether it would turn out for good or ill she did not know?

Looking forward to see what Paolini got cooking for the last chapter of the Inheritance Trilogy.
I really liked Eldest a lot. Liked it so much I finished it in like 2 days. :O

Eldest is such a good book.... Though I have to say I like Eragon better. I don't know why...
I had the awesomest dream last night! I had a dream that the third book came out! It had a weird name, like 'Crescent Moon' or something... It cost me $35, but I bought it and read it in one hour! I can't remember what happened it it though. Besides Saphira taking an interest in skateboarding, that is.

Yea I finished eragon in one day and eldest the next. I don't think if Eldest is so much dull as kinda just annoying. i mean I loved both but Eragon does whine an awful lot in the second book, because he likes Arya and she doesn't want anything to do with him ect. ect. I was kinda getting annoyed with that aspect of the book. But I loved them anyways...I mean I can't really say too much because I thought HP was a whiny brat in the 5th book and it's my favorite...so maybe I like the whining even though it annoys me? I dont know. I hope he kinda grows out of that a little in a 3rd book.

Eragon and Eldest are good! I've read Eldest once, and Eragon twice. And the first time I read Eragon, and when I read Eldest, I did a book report on them(and these are in two different grades)... maybe then I'll end up doing reports on the third and fourth books when they come out.
^Yes, third and fourth books! The Chapters don't end at three books!
Quote: "I plotted out the Inheritance series as a trilogy nine years ago, when I was fifteen. At that time, I never imagined I’d write all three books, much less that they would be published" said Paolini. "When I finally delved into Book Three, it soon became obvious that the remainder of the story was far too big to fit in one volume. Having spent so long thinking about the series as a trilogy, it was difficult for me to realize that, in order to be true to my characters and to address all of the plot points and unanswered questions Eragon and Eldest raised, I needed to split the end of the series into two books."
^CP
Okay, on the Arya/Eragon topic, I agree with most here. And same with which one is better, Eragon or Eldest(probably because more Murtagh in Eragon, who is my favorite character). Arya should punch Eragon and break his nose. I'd so like to see that. I can see Arya punching more than slapping. Eragon is so Marty-Sam... even his name almost. Eragon ragon Dragon... much?
Eldest is long and mostly political/school/romance. I am not a politician, I am the opposite of a fan of school, and I am not romantic. I like action and comedy. CP should at least add some comical relief, just to make the book more enjoyable and not so serious. Eragon doesn't have comedy in it, but at least it has enough action! Eldest, with the exception of the last few chapter with the battle, has no action at all...

I seem to agree with most people in saying that i liked Eragon more than Eldest. I had a feeling, right from the very beginning that Eragon and Murtagh were brothers, and i has also guessed that Murtagh had been captured by the bald twins. What i didn't count on was Murtagh turning and ending up trying to capture Eragon and bring him to Galbatroix.

Capturing is still better than killing, though. But... I think Eragon should die, and Murtagh end up being the hero. If CP kills Murtagh... I'd... I'd... I don't know what I'd do... but it'd probably end up being bad...

^Oh wow... reading your post has brought back so many memories!
When the movie came out last year, I was completly infatuated with Murtagh/Garrett Hedlund... he was seriously the biggest celeb crush i've ever had... pretty sad for a seventeen year old (at the time) with a boyfriend... haha.
Anyways... Does anyone know when is the latest book coming out?

And after it comes out, you'll have to wait a while longer to read the end. It seems the trilogy is not a quartet.
