"I can too swim," Myrtle said replying to Will's comment. "Just not very well." she added still holding onto Haldir's shoulder. Haldir looked over his shoulder at Myrtle. "Get ready, we are going under," he said with a smirk. "What? Don't you dare!" Haldir dunked under the water taking his with down with him. They were only under for a moment then resurfaced. Myrtle wiped the water out of her eyes then stared blankly at Haldir almost as if she were going to scold him. Haldir only smiled innocently, then Myrtle's face softened. It almost seemed that he was actually having fun.

Will gave an innocent smile and said, I meant no offence, Ma'am. You and Drew can both swim. It's just that you need a bit of help and Haldir and I are more than willing to give it". When Haldir dunked Myrtle until the water, Will's smile became a smirk as he gently grabbed Drew by the waist and told her to hold her breathe. When they resuffuced, Drew gave Will a terrible look. "Don't ever do that again!'. Will gave her pleading eyes as he gently lifted her onto his shoulders. Drew sighed she just couldn't stay mad at him. She wrapped her arms lovingly around his shoulders. Will adn Drew giggled at Myrtle's forgiving Haldir as well. Will swam around in circles as Drew giggled. "You want me to drop you", Will asked. Drew looked down into his face, "You catch me right?" Drew asked. "Of course", Will replied. "Allright then", Drew said. Will gently let her fall backwards off of his shoulders and then caught her. Drew giggled.

Myrtle and Haldir had paid no attention to Will and Drew's actions. Myrtle's eyes went a little wide. "Haldir, are you actually having fun?" she asked with a bit of surprise. "Maybe,” Haldir answered. Myrtle crossed her arms knowing he couldn't deny he was. She could sense it. "Alright, I am having fun," said Haldir. "It is what you wanted of me, right?" Myrtle nodded her head in reply. Haldir smiled. "Good." He leant his head in and gently kissed her. Myrtle was quite surprised by his actions. Never, ever would he show any display of love in front of others. Maybe he got too much water in his ears and it was clouding his thoughts.

Drew sighed as Will lifted her upon his shoulders for roughly the tenth time. "Are you tired, Love" Will asked her. Drew replied, "Yes". Will placed Drew back into the water. "Do you want to head back in", Will asked. Drew nodded. "Where would you like to go?" Will asked. "Perhaps a walk in the gardens". Will nodded. "We are heading to the gardens, you are more than welcome to come along of stay, which ever you prefer" Will told Haldir and Myrtle who were not paying alot of attention to them. Just as they began to head back towards land they noticed Haldir and Myrtle kissing. Drew and Will giggled as they headed towards the gardens.

Haldir pulled away and looked into his wife's eyes. "What did they say? Something about gardens?" he asked. "I think so," Myrtle answered. "Do you wish to go see them?" Haldir asked. "That would be nice," replied Myrtle. She held onto Haldir's shoulder as he swam back to land. Their clothes clung to them as they stepped out of the water. "Maybe we should not have swam with our clothes on," Myrtle said ringing out the water from her dress. "We will dry off eventually, " said Haldir. "Come, let us go see those gardens." The two walked away from the swimming hole and headed towards the gardens.

Elenriel and Legolas made their way down to the swimming hole. The crystal blue waters sparkled in the light, giving an aura of serenity to the area. Still clad in his tunic, Legolas dove into the water and began swimming around. Elenriel smiled as she watched her husband’s powerful strokes as she sat on the edge of the grassy bank, content just to dip her feet into the refreshing stream. She was not fond of swimming, preferring only to occasionally wade in a stream. Suddenly her husband swam up to her, a mischievous smile on his face.

“What-” she began to ask, but was cut off as her husband swiftly reached for her hand and pulled her into the water with a splash. Sputtering as she resurfaced, she pushed back her long raven locks and glared at him as she began to tread water, her red dress clinging to her skin. “Legolas Greenleaf!” she shouted. “How dare you!”

Legolas only smiled as he moved behind her and wrapped an arm around her, pulling her against him. “Come, my love. The water is refreshing.” he whispered in a pacifying tone as he planted a kiss on her temple before releasing her and slowly moving off.

Elenriel sighed and shook her head, a bemused smile tracing her lips. Unable to stay angry at him for long she willingly followed him toward the center of the swimming hole.

Legolas reached out and gently grabbed his wife’s hand as she drew near to him. He held her against him in one arm while treading with the other.

“Still angry at me love?” he asked.

“I’m still here, aren’t I?” she replied with a smirk. “Beside, with your charms, how can I remain angry at you for long?” she added playfully.

Legolas smiled as he lowered his head slightly and kissed her tenderly on the lips, love pulsing between them. After they parted, the two swam together for some time, saying nothing but content on being with each other.

“We should rejoin the others,” Elenriel said quietly after some hours passed. Legolas nodded as the two swam toward shore. Legolas climbed the bank and then helped his wife ashore. Elenriel then began to ring the water from her dress and squeezed out her long dark locks.

“Do not fret so, dearest.” Legolas said with an amused smile. “It will dry in time.”

Elenriel cocked an eyebrow at him, but said nothing as she took his arm and the two headed for the gardens.
