smeagollum, I didn't plan to join the RP with a character, I would only participate if the plot needed some action or help in carrying the story forward. I'll make a short opening post in Disney World and you can respond to it or not but it seems Elenriel wants to join you there!

Smeag stood in the single riders line for Big Thunder Mountain Railroad. She was next, and her emotion could hardly hold in. The attendant help up two fingers, indicating the next two single riders to board the coaster. "Wait," the attendant took down one of the fingers; he overlooked someone, and only one rider was needed: Smeag.

Upon boarding the car, Smeag looked over at the person sitting next to her. He looked like he would not be beyond the age of 7, 8 maybe, considering how short he was. "The name's Smeag," she smiled, introducing herself.

"Drogo," the child indicated, "Drogo Took."

"Hmm.." Smeag thought aloud, "That's an interesting name. Sounds a lot like Peregrin Took from this book I read."

"Oh Peregrin!" the child laughed, "You know him?"

"Not directly..."

"You should meet him sometime. Quite the little rascal he can be. By the way, do you know where any food is? I'm starving."

Valaina looked around her surroundings in confusion. Gone was the familiar splendor of her woodland home, replaced instead by strange metal contraptions. Where on Arda am I? she wondered. She had traveled to the different kingdoms and yet had never met a land as strange as this one. Clad in an olive green tunic and dark boots with her bow, quiver of arrows and daggers secured firmly to her back, she received strange glances from those she passed in the crowd. What strange creatures. she thought as she noted their attire of tanktops, jeans, shorts and slippers as well as the crazy hairstyles. Ignoring the hushed comments of strangers she passed (although her elven hearing picked up their every word) as well as some whistles from men in the crowd, she quickened her pace through the crowds, hoping to find something remotely familiar.

"What's going on?" Drogo panicked as the coaster moved them forward.

"Don't worry, Drogo," Smeag comforted the child, "You'll be fine. It's a ride."

Drogo remained silent and stunned as the coaster winded through the dark cave. "Light!" he yelled in a hushed voice, "Light!" By this time, Drogo had already clung himself to Smeag, and the fear of death was clinging onto him.

Sitting near the back of the coaster, Drogo and Smeag slowly cranked up the hill with the train. "What is going.." Drogo yelled and was cut off from all of the air escaping through his lungs because of the sure speed he had never felt before.

Valaina made her way through the crowds and found herself staring up at the Big Thunder Mountain Railroad. Not making any sense what the contraption was, she stared at it with a mixture of awe and curiosity.

"Hey doll, how about a ride?" a teenage boy offered, breaking her thoughts.

"Doll?" Valaina questioned, raising an eyebrow.

"Yeah, sweetcakes. So how about it?" he asked as he put his arm around her shoulders.

Valaina frowned at his gesture and promptly removed his arm from her. "I do not appreciate such familiarity mortal." she replied coldly as she moved off.

"No one disses me." he shouted as he lunged after her. Sensing his clumsy attack Valaina easily sidestepped it and struck the young man in the abdomen as he lost his balance. She glanced down at the man who was gasping for breath on his knees. "Try that again and regret it. Consider this your last warning." she said sternly and moved off and continued to study the ride from a distance.

They both arrived at the second hill. Drogo could promise that he was seeing his life flash before his eyes. Panting, Drogo felt terrifed, but, at the same time, it was fun (in a awkward type way). "When we get off," Smeag smiled down at Drogo, she had finally figured out that he wasn't a child even though she didn't exactly know why he was here, "I'll get you something to eat."

"That will be goooooood," Drogo said and shook from fear as he was dropped down the second cliff with the train.

Tur walked up behind Shia, glancing at the book as she held onto her coat. "Ugh, it's bloody cold out here." She said, her Austrailian accent on her mothers side showing.* She looked around and said, "I haven't seen a single penguin all week. This trip isn't turning out too well.

A playful hobbit, named Crukas Littleknight Baggins, was walking alongside the riverbed in his home, Tookland. Now, it is strange for a Baggins to live in Tookland, but Crukas was living with his best friend, Pippin Took, for a while. He was planning on going and visiting his Uncle Bilbo and his favorite cousin Frodo tomorrow, when suddenly his world went quite dark.

Crukas looked around and then got the chills. He rubbed his arms and sighed. He looked around and saw that he wasn't in his hobbit-hole anymore. He climbed out of the dark cave and looked around. He wasn't even in Tookland anymore, either.

"Where am I?" He asked, looking around. "Hullo? Annyone heeeree?" He yelled, looking around, shuttering because he was so cold. How did he get here? What was here? He looked around, hoping someone would find him. Someone nice would find him.

"Anyone heeeeerrreeee?" The sound traveled across the icy land. Fredoc spun in circles, recognizing the tounge of his native Shire.
"Halooooo!" He called. A faint cry to his left started him trotting off in that direction.

Shia glanced at Tur. "I'm going to see a penguin, whatever it takes! I didn't come all the way down here to look at lichens and ice sheets. As fascinating as they are," she added sarcastically. She picked up the binoculars lying on the desk. "Might as well try again." Scanning the area, her eyes were drawn back to one spot.
"Tur! Come look at this!" She couldn't believe it. It looked like there were people out on the ice! People without proper protection from the elements as well. Handing off the binocs to Tur, Shia began tossing blankets into a bag.

Crukas thought he heard something, and then he thought he saw someone in the distance. He squinted and looked out. It was another hobbit! Crukas stood and ran towards him, shivering, until he saw that he was standing right in front of Fredoc Brandybuck.

"Fredoc! What are you doing here!? And where is here excatly?"

Tur nodded at Shia and smiled. "And that is why you are my partner, mate. So stubborn." She grinned and then took the binoc's and looked through them.

"Why, they are no bigger than children!" She dropped the binoc's and helped Shia gets things for the two "children."

"Turn me out and take my food, I haven't a clue," Fredoc replied. "I just hope we can get somewhere warm soon!" He took another look around him. Wait - what was that? Two really big beings were walking this way!
"Crukas, look!" He pointed. "What do we do?"
"Do? Why, hope they have food!" Crukas shivered.
"Right. And maybe a nice spot of ale...?"

Shia squinted. "Tur....Tur, they're hobbits!" She started running towards the halflings, bag thumping against her back.

Crukas looked around and smiled at the thought of food. "Maybe they are from Bree and can tell us what is going on here." He offered to Fredoc, shrugging and shivering at the same time.

Tur broke into a trot after Shia. "Well bloody ****, you are right, Shia! They look excatly like hobbits would! How would hobbits get here to the Arctic? Or here period?!"

Drogo's hands were still shaking after exiting the ride. "How...in...the...woorlld...do you all...find that fuuuunnn?" he stuttered out.

"Well," Smeag thought aloud, "People typically know what is going on, but, besides that, it just is."

"I can see that being true a little teeny bit."

"Like.." Smeag stopped herself realizing that a joke about his size would probably not be a good thing at the moment in time.

"But, you did promise."

"Yes, I did," Smeag admitted, "and what would you like to eat?"

"Anything!"

"Anything can be done," Smeag spoke with a smile as she led Drogo to a nearby restaraunt.

Valaina continued to walk around the park until she spotted the form of a hobbit and human near a restraunt. Racing up with to the pair, she swiftly caught up to them and gently placed her hand on the hobbit's shoulder. "Wait, friend." she said gently, hoping to draw the hobbit's attention without alarming him.
