[sorry comrades. I got in late last night and was so exhausted I could barely drag meself to bed.]
"Jack?" Barbossa turned an almost believable innocent expression towards Teague. Although slightly not.
A hundred lies raced through his head. Surely Teague hadn't seen Jack being pulled into his boat? And then... what if he had? There was no way he'd ever be able to convince the pirate that it wasn't his halfwit son on a leaky boat out in the middle of the ocean. There was no other pirate who would even think of doing anything so... daft.
"Well," he choose his words carefully, "Jack be otherwise occupied. Any business ye have with th' Black Pearl, ye'll just have ta' address to me."

Without any spoken words, Teague's head dropped down toward his pistol, eyeing it nonchalantly and then those dark eyes re-appeared looking back to Barbossa. "Hector," he said with a dark softened voice, "I want to speak with the captain of the Pearl."
Wrigling his thumb and index finger playfully over the pistol, he added, "That is.....if you don't mind." Patience was not an option with Teague and any man would know that he would pay harshly for his consequences.

Lee's mouth, when he heard Teague's reply to Barbossa's comment, dropped open. No one dared to speak back to Barbossa...and Lee found it really clear, in his own opionon. He was starting to like this Teague guy. Then, to his own awe and amazement, piped up, "I believe Jack 'ent down below, 'aybe in the brig." He said, and then he gulped. He shouldn't have said that...he should not have said that.

Barbossa's hand immediately went to his side; compulsory habit told him to shoot the changeling and be rid of his stupid comments like that forever. After all; one more comment like that could put them all at odds with one another. He sighed loudly, and rolled his eyes back over to Teague.
"What the lad means is that th' Capt..." he paused, and tried hard to find the words on his resisting tongue,"That Jack is 'otherwise occupied' in th' brig." He smiled humorlessly again at Teague, but refused to look at the boy lest he change his mind and shoot him.
