Sylan bounded up the staires two at a time. He scooped Corison up with practiced ease. He sat softly talking to her until her breathing deepened and relaxed. Sylan looked up at Lanie the fear he had just experianced showing only in the way his hands shook slightly.

David had just pulled into the driveway when corison's breathing slowed. he didn't even knock he opend the door and went inside. " lanie! sylan! corison?!" he said walking up the stairs.

Corison lay unmoving in her brother's arms. Her face as pail as death, but her breathing was normal. Sylan brushed the hair back from her face thankful that she wasn't running a fever anymore. He looked up as David came into the house. "We're up ..." He paused as his voice cracked, cleared his throat and continued, " ... Up here!"

David was up the stairs in a min. he saw Corison. " is she ok?" he said as soft as he could. " she looks horrible." he said his voice was very panicy

Lanie sighed. " she's breathing normal now." Lanie looked up at him. " i'm sorry i called and freaked you out, but i was scared." she said, you could tell she was holding back tears.

Sylan carefully stood up and carried Corison dwon to the living room. He layed her on the couch and covered her up. "He turned looking at David and Lanie. He jamed his hands deep into the pockets of his jeans so Do david wouldn't see how they shook. "She's fine now ... "

Lanie didn't say anything. she simple walked into the kitchen. she leaned over the sink for a min or two she then got a glass out of the cabnet, her mind was going crazy. her sister was so frgile she could die any min, and her brother was going to fight against some of the strongest men she had ever heard of. she would be alone. with no one. she was tarifyed.
she got so angry she threw her glass on the floor.

Sylan cleaned up the mess, then went down to the tournament training gym.
He watched his oponents with a cold calculating gaze. When he had seen what he needed to he went back to the house and dwoninto the basememt.

Corison woke about lunch time and looked around. "Lanie?" She said noticing the angry scowl on her sister's face. "What's wrong?" She tried to sit up.

At lunch time david called lanie's cell phone.

" hey it's david, everything ok with corison?"
" yes everythings fine. i'll call you back later." she said sharply then hung up.
David sighed. he knew lanie was probably fuistraed over a lot.

Corison shook her head, and struggled to sit up as a coughing fit shook her. When it ended she lay back exausted, and was asleep within moments.

Sylan came back into the house and went upstares to take a shower.
