Altadon stepped out onto the ledge and carefully lifted Darren in a big claw. He carried him back into the cave and curled up spreading a wing protectively over Darren as he slept.

Cloudya woke up a littel before dawn and changed into the flying gear. She wanted to get out of the cave. She woke Altadon wo move carefully so as not to wake Darren, and then waited as Cloudya saddled him.

Darren woke up, he wasnt in the same place he fell asleep. he looked around. when he saw that the dragon was right beside him. he jumped up and almost screamed. he ran to the other side of the cave. " i don't think i'll ever get used to that thing." he wispered.

Cloudya ignored the sudden flury of movement as Darren woke up. She climbed onto Altadon's back. Lets get out of here ... please? She thought as she tightened the straps that held her securely in the saddle. Altodon did as she asked leeping from the ledge and falling a good ways before opening his wings with a snap that sent him soaring into the heavens.

Darren thought that to be a bit odd. why did she ignore him like that. was a thought going through his head.

just then Meriana woke up when she heard the dragon leap off the ledge. she looked around and then saw Darren on the other side of the cave. " Darren are you ok?" she said in a sleepy voice.

" cloudya." his voice cracked, he cleared his throat. " uh cloudya." he tried to smile dashingly. but he was just making a fool out of himself.

Meriana staired in wonder. " wow. he fineally found himself a girl. never thought that would happen."
