I don't *think* there's a topic for this series, so if there is/was one already, sorry! But I've just finished the third one and it was really good, so I was wondering if anybody else has heard of them or likes them. They're by John Flanagan and chronicle the adventures of a boy named Will who wants to become a knight, but ends up being apprenticed to a Ranger instead. (Rangers being somewhat like Aragorn and Tolkien's other Rangers, but more like sheriffs and whatnot - they patrol the area)

It's hard to tell, seeing as for most of the 3rd book Will was out of it cause of the warmweed. If he does, I don't know if that would work out, because Evenlyn is royalty and royals can only be with other royals. Unless thats different in Auraluan(sp).

Yes, but...look at the last page of the last section with Will and Evanlyn. There's something there about after he's come out of it, and he looks at Evanlyn and she's "breathtakingly beautiful". I don't have any idea how it would work out though, you're right...

Do you think when Halt finds Will and they go back to Arualuan, will Halt be aloud to come back to the Rangers?

Well, he's been banished for a year, so if it takes a year to get Will back, then probably. Otherwise... I can't imagine what Will will do in the meantime, if he has to wait months for his mentor's punishment to lift.

My little brother really likes those books. I've heard of them..but havent the time to read one.
