Cat scowled at the use of her name, but let Lily run out of steam.
She patted her gently on the shoulder, and looked her straight in the eye "Startlingly good looking to you?"
As she said the words, she tried her hardest to hide back a grin. She knew what was comming.

"I have no idea," said James takeing his place in the horse-less carriage, "So, what do you think Cat wants to talk to you about 'later.'"

Lily shoved the hand that was patting her on the shoulder roughly away from her.
"What? What?" she growled, her face distorted with rage,"Are you joking? Because if you are, it's definitely not funny!"
Lily shook her head and looked at her feet. She was tired, and she was hungry. She didn't want to deal with this now. She quickened her pace and got onto the nearest carriage without looking to see who was in there. She lifted her head a fraction and found herself staring into the eyes of James Potter.

"You know, Severus isn't all that bad. It's just who he hangs out with," Emmy said, peering over the book she was reading.

Sirius was about to answer Emmy but remained silent when suddenly Lily entered the carriage and to avoid a painful silence Sirius said: "I hope Dumbledore's speech won't be too long...I'm starving." He laughed his barking laugh and said: "Hi again Lily" But he was glad to see they'd passed the winged boars and that they were on the school ground.

Cat grinned at James.
"I'm not sure what Cat wants to talk to Sirius about either,"she winked cheerfully.
"But I'm sure we'll have time after the feast."
She grinned at Sirius with a dark gleam in her eyes.
Cat turned her eyes to Lily, and offered her a wide smile to try and cheer her up. It slowly merged into a rather ridiculus face with wide eyes and pouted lips.
When she still didnt react, she turned to the other students in the carriage, becoming playfully upset that her friend didnt want to speak to her.

"Hello, Black," Lily nodded towards him. How could she have got into this carriage? How? She looked at Cat again. Lily couldn't stay annoyed with her forever. Finally guilt overcame her and she threw her arms around her unsuspecting friend.
"I'm sorry I'm such a mean old cow sometimes, Cat!"
Then she let go and frowned. She was starving.

Emmy looked out of the horseless carriage's window, the castle twinkled and sparkled against the dark night.
"Hmm, I am starving. Dumbledore usually saves his speech for after dinner? Right?"

Sirius watched Cat with an amused grin on his face as if observing her, where she was playing at. He answered her look with a wink and answered Emmy a little absent minded "Right, the speech after dinner.." When the carriage halted in front of the entrance of Hogwarts, he stretched and as he climbed out the carriage and breathed in the cool evening air he mumbled: "Finally, home again.."

Severus was completely concentrating on his book again as the carrige stopped. He looked out of the window and saw the Hogwarts school before him. He put his book back into his bag and climbed out of the carrige, heading the entrace of the school.

Lupin watched as the last of the students disembarked the train and headed towards the carriage that Sirius saved for him. He wasn't concentrating today. Well, he hasn't been ever since the summer began. The idea of his best friends risking their careers or their lives still plagued him.
